So who won this poll and by how much? Did Jurassic Park win?

The polls usually don't mean anything. The guys go, "Huh. Jurassic Park won. Let's do The Invisible next."

That makes me sad. Jurassic Park is my favorite movie. Anybody got a guess what the chances are of them doing it?

Well, first I was about six when it came out and had loved dinosaurs since I was 2 (so my parents tell me, can't remeber being that young). Then I got to see it and I guess I just liked everything about it. The special effects, the story, and all the scientific mumbo jumbo. I don't really know for sure why I like it so much, I guess I just do. It probably helped that I didn't get to see it for awhile even though I really wanted to, so I ended up reading the book instead (impressive for a 6-7 year old, huh?) and when I finally got to see it, it didn't let me down a bit. Oh yeah, and it had a fantastic soundtrack. John Williams rules!!

Jurassic Park is a great movie.  I saw it when I was 13 at the cinema, and the end sequence with the Raptors I found genuinely scary.

And just think, the CGI in it was better then the CGI in NEXT. And how many years did Jurassic Park get released before NEXT?

Everyone knows that Bill has been itching to do Titanic for years now, right? Maybe this poll will finally be enough to convince the guys to hunker down for that 3hour steaming pile of film.

There is a new release coming out in November:

Titanic is so much more Riffable than Dune (any ver of Dune) Riffing Dune would be like trying to riff the Bible. It would take too long and many a people would be offended.
Every day of my life I find the wisest and best to fix our attention on the Good and the Beautiful. If you just take the time to look at it.

That's a joke between me and some of my friends. Whenever we think the graphics in a movie are subpar we say something along the lines of "Wow, Jurassic Park looks better than that 15 years later." Technically, it was 14, but whatever. Man, I said that about Dragon Wars just the other day. That movie sucked balls.

The first Jurassic Park was a decent movie, fun in the theaters, and now and then a great movie to bring out at a party.  I think a lot of people turned on the JP franchise as a whole since the sequels sucked so bad.  I know I wanted to pack it in as soon as a raptor got it's ass kicked by gymnastics.

Lost World wasn't terrible but yeah it had some problems. I can't understand why they felt the need to disregard almost every plot point that happened in the book. At least JP was more faithful to the original novel. As for JPIII... It had Sam Neill in it.... yeah that's about it. That one needs to be riffed.

Kinda funny that the new Titanic set is only 2 discs when there is already a 3 Disc Collectors set, with the movie stretched out over two discs (much like the extended cut of lotr).

I like all the JP movies. I just like the first one more by a SUBSTANTIAL margin. Anyways, JP4 is currently in development hell and we won't see it until after Indiana Jones 4. As for why, well, they still make money. Plus, I don't think you have any freakin' idea how well the merchendising does. Those toys sell almost as well as Star Wars toys.

Unfortunately the people who see that merchandise selling don't seem to understand that if they cranked out toys without the JP mark on it, but kept up the quality, kids would still buy it because enough of them love dinosaurs, and the vehicles would still sell because they have weapons on them.
