Hey, remember who guessed The Wicker Man.  I've got a spidey-sense for bad Nicolas Cage movies.

You realize that this means we're eventually going to get Ghost Rider.
I thought I was Dale.

David

This movie is the first result on Google.
For the freaking word "Next."
They ruined a perfectly good word.

Hey Scrivener, let me know when they're going to do Ghost Rider.

March of next year.  Not sure about the exact date.

Now let's see if that spidey-sense really works ...

Scrivener, you are a gentleman and a scholar for doing that. Or a lady and a scholar. Whichever. A nice person, at any rate.

I'm off to go look up the ending of "Next." Every time I hear about a really bad movie ending I just gotta find out what it is right away. Weird habit.

I liked Conor's method of making people guess with a 2 minute time limit.

David

So if he can see 2 minutes into his own future, why doesn't it work recursively?
I would look into the future with the plan to look two minutes into the future at that point, so that I could look four minutes into the future, and so on ad nauseum.

Gentleman and scholar.  Glad to clear that up.

Gosh, I'm just feeling so ebullient today.  Wonder why?  ;D

Attempts to apply any logic to the plot of Next will result in anger and headache.  it isn't recommended.

is there a way to disable the "Warning - while you were reading 4 new replies have been posted. You may wish to review your post." in this thread?  It seems pretty useless here

Warning - while you were typing a new reply has been posted. You may wish to review your post.

I think so. But it is helpful for us mods who tend to answer at the same time. I'll look into it for next week.

With how fast the game moves though I can't really imagine that anybody actually goes back to review it..... But I could see it helping you guys in the sense that gives you longer intervals to answer questions

You turn off the warning in your own profile settings. It is under "Look and Layout Preferences"

Sweet!  I'm gonna go do that right now.

I was just about to post that. Thanks, Torso. (I actually wasn't sure if it was something I could do forum-wide or if it was a personal setting. Turns out it's mainly the latter; to do the former would require some custom code. Hooray!)

At IMDb I had the misfortune to run across a quote:

"Here is the thing about the future, every time you look at, he changes because you looked at and that changes everything else."

My head hurts . . .
