I just watched road house for the first time, with riff trax obviously, and I must say it's not that bad. I mean there's tons of boobs and fighting. The only complaint I have is that Patrik never wears a shirt, but if I had his chest I wouldn't wear a shirt even to work. B+ movie all the way.

The whole premise is so absurd, that's why Mike picked it. Like the idea that there's a world-famous bouncer and for some reason he takes it upon himself to save the town from an evil Photo-Mart owner.

And don't forget about his mentor, the voice of beef, who is against bouncers saving towns, dying for a cause he couldn't have given much less of a crap about.

In other words, one of my favorite movies ever.

There was also a subplot that many people didn't even notice.  It concerned waiting until the nineties, when doctors figured out what they were doing, to get a boob job.
In my post-apocalyptic Utopia, all laws will be in the form of easily remembered rhymes and chants.

The world has had a serious shortage of world famous bouncers ever since. :(

Sideswipe

A world class bouncer forged from a long line of professional bouncers.

I was bieng threated with death by wolf raping before it was cool!.

Grillslinger

You are all forgetting a ridiculous but important detail...he is a world famous bouncer...who has a PHD in philosophy.

The only minor disappointment for me was there were no riffs on Terry Funk.  With Mike's obvious breadth of trivial knowledge, surely he knew one of Wesley's thugs was a professional wrestler.
