Is it one of those things that Lucas added later into the Special Edition, or was it originally there? 

Either way, the question that I really need answered is why does Lucas have the Wookies yodel like Tarzan when they swing from ropes and cables?  Why, Lucas, WHY?!  WHY???!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I remember laughing at the wookie yell as a kid. :^) I just write it off as an intergalactic coincidence, or maybe it's just what all upright beings in the universe feel the need to do when swinging from vines.

Well, isn't Grievous' death the funniest thing in the movie? "Nooo" is just kinda sad really.-

Though Palpatine's "Noh, Noh!" (I don't want to go to the big place) is my favorite overacting moment. Really that's akin to "AAHHHH!" *quiet jump* from Space Mutiny.

Maybe the melted Emperor's "Unlimited POWER!" moment, if only because it reminds me of the end of the Masters of the Universe movie when Skeletor gets his god like powers, is covered in electricity and has a similar line.

Yep.....   I was one of those weirdos way back then who was at the first showing the first day it came out (for some reason, we didn't have to camp out for months...just show up at sunrise at the theater).

And I can tell you that the groan from the audience when that happened was louder than the explosions.....

Only the Ewoks themselves were a worse idea than that.
