This'll give me a chance to finish rewatching Eps I and II like I was planning.  Unfortunately work fatigue was interfering, and even with the rifftrax the podrace knocked me out cold.

Yaarrrrrgghhhh!    I'll have to find something else to occupy my time.  Sigh.  Oh well, guess I'll watch/listen to Episodes 1 & 2 with the Riffs.  Those were great., as was the one for Independence Day.
Now That's Actually Not A Bad Idea At'Tall!!!

Then We'll REALLY Get 'The Full Effect' of Episode 3 when it comes out!! EXCELLENT IDEA!!

We have had to delay the release of episode 3...Sorry about this.

The only appropriate response:

eeknight

Delayed?!

Oh, man, the wife and I had a Rifftrax date all set up for tonight.   :'(

Ah well, plenty of classic riffs in the library.

We didn't say "another week" we said "later this week."

Could be tomorrow, could be friday. We won't know until at least tomorrow.

Ack!  I need someone to blame for this!

Jar Jar: "Meesa sorry, Obi, meesa no mean to delay Rifftrax!"

Obi Wan: "It's too late, Jar Jar, you'll have to be killed..."

Obi Wan: "It's too late, Jar Jar, you'll have to be killed..."

True story:  Before Episode II came out I had a dvd pre-ordered at a store in the mall and I went as soon as I got up to pick it up.  I can't even remember what the dvd was, but I think it was anime.  I got to the mall before the stores actually opened, but there were still the zombie-like mallwalkers wandering around.  I sat down for a minute and looked over to see the Kay-Bee Toy Store open up early, so I went to check it out.  They were open early because the new Episode II action figures just came out that morning.  I looked over the selection for a moment and saw the Jar Jar figure.  I read the name:  "Senator Jar Jar Binks"  With that I looked over at the clerk behind the counter and said this.

"If Jar Jar Binks is a Senator then the fall of the Republic not only makes more sense, it suddenly sounds like a great f*$&ing idea!"

Who knew he actually would be the reason the damn thing fell apart.

So yeah, blame Jar Jar for everything, he's already destroyed a government.

Hmmmm, that sounds about right.

I think you'll find that Jar Jar is to blame for almost everything bad.

Well darn, there goes the mid-week b-day plan.  Had a fine cigar all picked out and everything.

Hate it when the mics pick up those 3-burrito lunches, eh? ;)

There you see.  THAT's why Jar Jar was there.  It wasn't to pander to kids.  It wasn't to sell lame merchandise.  It wasn't an outlet for horrible racist stereotypes veiled in material thinner than tissue paper and more transparent than cellophane.  It was a lesson.  That lesson:  "If you keep letting idiots into public office, you're all going to die"

The pandering, merchandise, and stereotypes were like a bonus.

Gee, thanks George!

I think we all know what happened. Everybody at work's been hot-boxing in the game room ever since Torgos picked up Halo 3.

;)

Is there at least a sample we can have in the meantime?
