Just got home from renting Deathproof, I will watch it and masturbate to the lap dance scene tomorrow.

Hate to be a downer, but I just watched it, and Tarantino owes me two hours of my life.  I want them back.  I'm not sure even Mike & Company could make it through this one.  It's that freakin' bad.

Just watched Deathproof and I liked it, definetly worth watching again.
haven't seen Planet Terror yet

So I shouldn't watch it?  If thomaswoof says it's bad, it must be bad.  Damn it!
On timeout

Completely forgot I never posted in here again....  But yeah, it was actually a lot better than the theatrical version in my opinion, it flowed much better so I wasn't just waiting and hoping that Kurt Russel would kill the movie chicks again....  And it seemed to make more sense, but consequently made Kurt Russel's character less random and crazy.....  And I watched it pretty late so I was too exhausted to take advantage of myself

I should go rent this movie tonight to cheer me up. :P
Global warming, where?

I hate when stupid people start mobs. There's an online petition out there addressed to "New Line Cinema and The Weinstein Company" (despite the fact that New Line had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the films) to release Death Proof and Planet Terror in its single-film form on DVD. ::) It was always meant to be two films. It was two films in theaters. It's two films on DVD. The only loss is the fake trailers (apparently). That's the only element that's needed on DVD. We don't need to have the two films on a single disc. If you want to see the double feature again, start a petition demanding that the Weinstein Co. re-release the film theatrically. Tarantino and Rodriguez never wanted you to see THAT VERSION of the films anywhere other than on the big screen. Sheeeeeeeeeeesh.
This iRiff will only be on sale for another few hours. Get it while it's cheap!

Soon there will be fan edits all over the internet anyway with both films on one DVD, and of course with some somewhat heavy compression if on a single layer disc....

Which is why they should have dropped all the faux film grain and missing frames and scratches from the DVD.

Anyone see the movie trailers on the Death Proof disc? WTF is up with that movie Black Sheep? It looks so dumb that I kinda want to see it.

I got it on DVD and watched it again, and surprisingly, I was not as annoyed with it as I was the first time.  Maybe after seeing Planet Terror I had higher expectations, but I actually enjoyed it quite a bit this time around.

I recommend it to anyone thinking about getting the DVD, though be warned - the lapdance scene isn't really anything great, so don't let that be the only reason you get the DVD.

Hmmmm, so Blockbuster pays off the movie company so ONLY Blockbuster can rent this film?    What a shitty deal for the consumer.

Go screw them and blockbuster.
