How exactly would they riff a movie about the real life president being shot and killed that shows the president being shot and killed in real life?

Well, I wouldn't task them with trying to Riff the Zapruder film, to be sure; but Stone's film so trivializes its subject matter, through immersion in pure nonsense, that I think it gives some distance from the real-world events. And, again, I would state that my view of a film's Riffability is that the Riffing fits in the space between how much a film desires (and sometimes demands) to be taken seriously, and its actual ability to be taken seriously. Since in the case of JFK, the demand to be taken seriously is near-infinite, while the film lacks even the merest shred of ability to be so, I'd say there's a lot of room for comedy.

Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."

Why do I get the feeling if Stone had made Jesus of Nazareth, the two of you would start celebrating Hanukkah (or The Ten Commandments you'd start hand-carving Nativity Scenes).

I haven't seen the movie, I was quoting 'The Critic'.

So I have no idea what your comment is even meant to mean.

The only Oliver Stone film I have seen is Platoon, which I saw last weekend.

See now I'm hearing Bill Hicks :

"Get Pilate to release the files! Oh the 'Roman Tourists' with the $100.00 sandals, just who else was on that grassy Golgotha that day?"

8. Electra

taking this one off my list ... I just saw the movie for the first time and found out that its not a very good candidate... its Bad, just not in the same league as DareDevil (which I've always hated w/ a passion) - I'll take this as a lesson NOT to put movies I've never seen in my lists from now on :)

Updated List:
1. Red Dawn 2. Jurassic Park 3. Mystery Alaska 4. Batman Forever 5. Young Guns
6. 'Matrix 2' 7. Spider-man 8. Titanic 9. 'Matrix 3' 10. 'Episode 3' (fingers crossed!)

There are some amazing suggestions on this board (Ravenous, Jaws 3D).

And there are some rather idiotic ones...I mean Snakes on A Plane?  Um, news flash, this movie already pretty much makes fun of itself, how would you even riff it and make it worthwhile and funny??  I have to assume most of the people suggesting this movie have not actually seen it.  No offense but if anyone took that movie seriously or believed the film maker thought it was more than it really was then said person is a moron.  Anaconda, on the other hand, should be riffed because they absolutely meant for it to be scary and serious.

Mine would be, in no particular order:

Night of The Lepus (this should have been MSTified, not sure why it never was...it would be nice to see them riff a bad b-movie after all of this mainstream, big budget stuff)
Armageddon (ugh it just sucks)
Dirty Dancing (so ridiculous I don't even know where to start)
Independence Day
Anaconda (since I'm thinking about it)
Next (Nicholas Cage is always bad but this just begs for a riffing)
Speed 2 (lol)
Poseidon (embarrassingly bad movie)
Fair Game (Cindy Crawford, LOL)
The Bodyguard
"Paul Reiser?  This IS a horror movie!"

I hope they never do Independence Day.  That's a movie special and dear to my heart.  It's a full movie experience.

Gotta have "The Fountainhead" with Gary Cooper and Patricia Neal.  My husband and I laughed until we cried when P.N. tells G.C. "I wish I'd never seen your building!"  It's almost too easy!
