MST3K Ebay prop auction

[badronald]

This is what I was able to snag - in retrospect I wish I would have tried to get more but most of it went for pretty high $.  If I recall I got these items for around $100 each.  I had forgotten about how much stuff they auctioned off.

SOL setpiece:

Bobo's Mermaid costume:

Brain Guy's union suit:

[Cibernético II]

I hope Bobo's outfit didn't come with fleas   Nice!

[MontyServo]

Cool stuff everyone!  Here's my ebay loot:

Servo's Doppeling Cube

Servo's Exposed Brain

...as seen in Overdrawn At The Memory Bank

And SOL set piece (Five saws on screen) which is under the far left window on the SOL set only visible on one or two episodes.

as seen in Touch Of Satan (bottom left corner)

[mrbasehart]

It's amazing, isn't it? How even tiny pieces of the MST3K set can mean so much to someone.

And how envious someone can be that that person has it.

[MontyServo]

Cool pictures guys!  Maybe we should expand this (sort of like the DVD collection thread) to stuff like pictures of your custom made bots and other cool/rare MST merch?  Post your collections!

OK, here are a few of my MST3K items:

My laserdisc and DVD copies of MST3K the Movie (both unfortunately out of print)

Some of my VHS un-MSTied movies:

And my life size Gypsy (which my brother built.  I also have incomplete Servo and Crow bots that he has never finished which are in pieces in boxes)

And my autographed picture of Ben Murphy:

Not screen used, but I like them

I built these bad boys:

I gots me a piece of the SOL-- all I could afford.  Not sure what it is or where it was on-set, but it's grey and it wards off evil spirits and only talks to me some of the time.

So what dose the Ben Murphy Autograph say. It wouldnt happen to say. "Keep on Truckin, Ben Murphy"

[SaucyRossy]

Wow all of these pictures are awesome keep them coming! I wonder if enough people on here have enough props and set pieces if we can rebuild the SOL!!! Imagine it!

It actually says "Mary, Love Ben Murphy"  I think Mary is the person I bought the picture off of Ebay from.  And I think she said it was signed at a car show back in the 70's.  Since it was only a couple of bucks I grabbed it.  Figured it would be a neat little piece of MST3K related memorabilia.

I thought I was kind of crazy having three props from the ebay auction and a few pieces of MST3K related memorabilia.  But this guy is just insane.  I'm glad to see that all this stuff is in the hands of a loving collector who will take care of it.

That's very impressive.  I love Crow and Servo's animal costumes.

[gammer]

Yes, its nice to know that a true fan is taking good care of it

Its also neat that he provided a screenshot from the ep that it was used in.
