I liked Transformers, but i still have to agree with his # 1.

That would be "her" thank you very much. :P I hated that movie with a passion. It had no story and no cohesiveness to anything going on. I'm shocked people paid to see this movie. I'd rather be stuck in a karaoke bar listening to Paris Hilton "singing" than watch this movie again devoid of a Riff Trax for it.
Being a genocidal maniac is not one of my turn ons.

Is it weird to hear the Safety Dance in my head watching Game of Thrones?

Oops, sorry. You know how it is with the name "Vermithrax." It's either Vermatraxa or Vermithraxuel, and I never guess it right.

But that's the thing about Transformers- Despite the fact that it WAS a bad movie, and it DID have some cringe parts, I still liked it.

Note to self: Put Vermithrax Pejorative on my list of favorite posters.

Ah, finally.  Someone who feels the same way I do about that damn "movie."
Imrahil: Don't care about Riding with Death.

Bob: Turkey.

Action Batch:  Woah, let's all mellow out and rap about this.

Yeah, the "Dragon Queen" under her avatar probably threw you off.

Two for two, eh, Junkyard?    :-*

Wasn't Paris Hilton in a remake of an old b-movie that was already crappy to begin with, even when it didn't have her in it?

That should be like riffing fish in a barrel.

....ah, House of Wax, that's the one.

ugghhh...  Paris hilton has to be one of the worst actors ever, the director of House of Wax would have been better off with a chimp dressed up like a woman other than her being in the movie, plus the chimp would be alot brighter, smarter and a better actor.

Paris need to stay away from films and also music albums all together

That new House of Wax wasn't a remake of the Vincent Price one (which was a remake of the Lionel Atwill/Fay Wray one).....was it?

I think they just jacked the title.

My all fantasy list:

10. Willow - laughable performances, a dull plot, Val Kilmer. What more can you ask for?

9. Highlander II: The Quickening - more like "the borening". A terrible film with a muddle-headed, jumpy plot, the cinematic equivalent of a tossed salad.

8. Legend - filmed through more gauze than has ever been wrapped around wounds, Legend makes you wonder if your cataracts are acting up, or is that Tom Cruise looking rather fruity?

7. The Sword and the Sorcerer - release quickly before Conan the Barbarian slashed onto screens, this gross tale of undead wizards and hearts being magically yank from chests is just plain silly.

6. The Lord of the Rings (1978) – so how do you take a 1,000 page epic and boil it down to a 2 hour 12 minute animated feature? You don't, unless you're Ralph Bakshi. So dizzyingly paced that you'll soon confuse Gandalf for Mickey Mouse in Fantasia.

5. Congo – not quite a full fledged fantasy film, but it does have as a lead character a gorilla fluent in sign language, which would be acceptable except they decided to link the gorilla to a machine that translates its every gesticulation into a voice that makes you want to stab pretzel sticks in your ears. Bungled in the jungle!

4. Jurassic Park III – gads, it wasn't bad enough to sic the banality of Jurassic Park II on people, they had to go and make a third "film" that relies heavily on a paragliding incident for plot. Take my advice, kid, and paraglide out of the film, pronto!

3. Deep Blue Sea – just when thought it was safe to go to the movies again, they went ahead and made another movie about sharks. The only good thing about this intelligent shark movie is Samuel Jackson was intelligent enough to ask to be eaten early on. I bet he tasted like a royal with cheese.

2. Dungeons & Dragons – when I heard they were making a D&D movie with a Wayans brother, I almost threw up on my bag of 20 sided dice. The most depressing thing of all is watching Tom Baker (of Dr. Who fame) lose his last shred of dignity.

And my number one fantasy disaster is:

1. Conan the Destroyer – I was following the making of the first Conan film back before there was even a précis for the film. When it came out in 1981, I was a happy barbarian wannabe. In its beefy Governor Ahhhnald sort of way, the first film has its appeal; lots of violence and nudity, what's not to love? Now, when I heard they were making a follow up, I was again all goose pimply. Who would Conan battle next? Another giant snake? Another evil wizard with a cult following? No, that was not Crom's will. Alas, Conan's chief adversaries in CTD are the chaotically frivolous scripting, the production values, and most of all, the cast. Grace Jones, Wilt "the misogynists" Chamberlain, and some wimpy little geek with a pair of kitchen knifes star opposite the man who felled James Earl Jones in the flesh, not merely as the voice of Darth Vader.  From rubber rocks to Jones's wild-eyed screen-chewing stares to Chamberlain's total lack of apparent acting skills to recycled fight scene villains from the first film to watering down the violence and nudity to garner a PG-13 rating, CTD's name is prophetic, for it certainly destroyed any possibility of third film. Crom!

Nice list, but I think Jurassic Park is Sci-Fi, and I would say Deep Blue Sea is Horror (did it actually scare anyone?).  And as you stated yourself,
Congo is Sci-Fi.   One ridiculous premise doesn't immediately make a movie fantasy.

More like a confetti storm, actually.   ;)

Quote.....or is that Tom Cruise looking rather fruity?

And in what movie has he NOT look fruity?     You'll notice they don't use any footage of him in the above video.  Guess putting him in a video where the artist's last name is Ferry.....too risky.     ;)

Haha, aw I liked Legend and Willow - they are silly fun.  Mia Sara is so lovely.
