I was curious if anybody here bought any of the props that Best Brains auctioned on Ebay back in 2000?

http://www.mst3kinfo.com/satnews/ebaysold.html

I was able to purchase three pieces:

Servo's Doppeling Cube from Overdrawn at the Memory Bank
Servo's Exposed Brain from Overdrawn at the Memory Bank  (both these were from host segment 3 of that episode, where Tom doppels down to see the nanites.  The exposed brain is really neat since it has the dome attached, so I technically own a piece of a show used bot.)
and
SOL Set Piece/5 Saws on Screen

I bid on a ton of the items but a lot of them were going for so much money that I kept getting outbid.  As it was, these three were later in the auction so the prices had started to come down.  I paid about $300 for the Servo brain/globe, when it would have easily gone for over a thousand earlier in the auction.  The only reason I paid so much for the brain was that I already had the cube and they sort of go together.

I'll try to post pics later.

I bid on many and many things but I had a real limited budget and the only thing I wound up with was this:

It is the "SOL Set Piece/Spaceship (?) Part"

I kinda wonder what kind of Set Piece it was. It kinda looks like a helmet for a Space Nune.

It was one of the many toys and items screwed into the Satellite of Love set. On the underside of it is written "below right window". When watching episodes I always try to spot it.

I wasn't ebay savvy when they were auctioning those off, unfortunately though i do own a piece of the Deep 13 set from the movie and tv series which i treasure

I got the Womb-Mate from Hercules and the Captive Women.

What I REALLY wanted was Johnny Long Torso, but I lost that one.

I wasnt able to get anything back when they had that auction but a few years ago the people that got the giant hypo from amazing colossal man decided to sell it and it is now sitting here in my aparmtment :)

I would love to see pics of what people did with the big pieces like the planet logo or the hexfield viewscreen. I wish that list on mst3k.com had the final auction prices too. Didn't the planet logo go for something like $10,000?

Cool pictures guys!  Maybe we should expand this (sort of like the DVD collection thread) to stuff like pictures of your custom made bots and other cool/rare MST merch?  Post your collections!

I'd say Whalberg definately qualifies as really good.

That's an impressive list.  While I would've loved to have bought something like that, what I really want (and I've said this before) is an action figure sized SOL Crew.  Similiar to the awesome INaction figures that ViewAskew release for their films.
