One day, at the end of time, I shall watch White Chicks.

I hope it's a long, long way away my friend until you have to watch that...
In brightest day, in darkest night
No DVD shall escape their sight
Let those who tremble in bad movies light,
Beware the power, Rifftrax's might!

My Walker Texas Ranger boxset can be embarassing if someone comes by and doesn't know that I watch it because I think its funny.

I have about 300 or so titles on DVD, but I used to have 3 times that before I sold a bunch on Ebay 3 years ago..

My most embarrassing titles?  On the movie side, I would have to say Some Kind Of Wonderful.  That movie has always been a guilty pleasure of mine and would make a fine Rifftrax one day, if Mike ever decided to tackle the John Hughes high school drama trilogy (that, Pretty In Pink, and The Breakfast Club).

On the TV box set side is a truly embarrassing item.  Punky Brewster Season 1.  It was on sale at Target for like, $10, and I impulse bought it.  I've never even watched any of it.  And the bigger shame is that it sits on the same shelf as my Office (UK version) dvd's, my two Ricky Gervais stand up concert DVD's, and my complete series Spaced box set.  So if Mike ever decides to riff the pilot episode of Punky Brewster, I would be all set!

I have a very small DVD collection; in fact, adding eight Rifftrax movies increased it by about 1/6.  So there isn't much to embarrass me, unless you count my very much beloved copy of Zorro: The Gay Blade.

Sadly, my DVD collection has dwindled over the past year, due to money constraints. I've had to sell many of my precious DVDs to pay the bills.   >:(

Always a drag!

But, on the upside, I've been able to slowly buy it back again. Soon, I shall be restored to my former glory.

After a quick scan of my 200+ DVD collection, I can honestly say that the only DVD I'm embarassed to own would be Crossroads, but it's no big deal, because when someone smirkingly asks me why I have a copy of that cinematic fecal matter, I can give them the juicy details of our Glorious RIFFTRAX!!!

;D

Do you have a Region 2 DVD player, or is there an R1 Spaced collection I'm not aware of? Imma needs me some Spaced.

I think it's only UK, although if Hot Fuzz does well they might release it in the US I suppose.

The only title I was ever embarrassed to own was The Birth of a Nation, which I quickly got rid of. Right now, I don't own anything I'm embarrassed of, though I really can't see how anything could be more embarrassing than owning Birth of a Nation.
This iRiff will only be on sale for another few hours. Get it while it's cheap!

I'm not sure if it has been released R1, but my copy is R2.  One of my DVD players is region-free and plays PAL on NTSC tv's.

Well, I don't own that many DVDs, and I'm too lazy to count, but I'll state right here and now that in many ways I have absolutely no taste.  And that doesn't embarass me.  That being said, the most embarassing titles are probably:

- Last Action Hero (sadly, I love this movie. I've watched it tons of times)
- the uber crappy ADV 1st season box set of Sailor Moon.  Even as an aging SM fan, this box set embarasses me for its sheer lack of product quality.  and I don't even mean the series when I say that
- Love Angel Wedding Peach box sets
- Boy in the Plastic Bubble (I got it for $2 at the corner store)

I also own plenty of VHS, and the most embarassing is probably a toss up between Troll and Troll 2

Cibernético II

yeah man, Last Action Hero gets a bum rap. It's just that some critics decided it was crap and then bad mouthing it just sort of caught on rather than concidering it for what it was.

granted, I was 11 when it came out, but it was fun and did what it set out to do
I really do like pie.

I sort of get the impression that everyone expected a typical Schwartzenegger action film, and not a self-reflexive film that pokes fun at itself.  Granted, it's very Disney-esque in some places, but that doesn't make it a bad movie either.

Incidentally, I also just noticed that I own the Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie, which is far more embarassing.

Nothing to be embarassed about but you'd have to explain it every time someone notices it: "It's not what it looks like!"

It's... interesting watching the retarded glorification of the KKK.

Edit: You know what, I gave it some thought and you're right. Watch it once for it's minor historical importance and throw it in the trash. The reality is, you really don't want anything to do with that kind of movie. Still glad I've seen it once though.
