I wonder if they will film some skits and add them to the DVD's?

Good point, we saw they do something similar for the 3 Stooges DVD so we might expect some kind of intro from the 3 of them at least.

Welcome to the board btw

Thanks!

Oh! Didn't know they did skits/intros for the 3 Stooges DVD! May have to pick that one up!

Yep, this is it:

The disc is excellent. Aside from the hilarious Film Crew segments, it features four of the Stooges' best shorts, completely restored, and looking better than they've ever looked. The Film Crew segments are only included with the colorized versions, which isn't a problem, since the color is completely excellent as well. A must-have for anyone who's had to suffer through horrible public domain representations of these hilarious Stooges classics. Amazon Marketplace has it used for under $3. 8)
This iRiff will only be on sale for another few hours. Get it while it's cheap!

I think everyone at one time or another has owned the "good time video" VHS copy of these shorts :)

But yes, the DVD is well worth the asking price.

Check your Wal-Mart $5.50 bin for the Film Crew Stooges. That's where I got mine.

I picked Hollywood After Dark.  I can't imagine passing up a Rue Mclanahan strip scene.

This is great news, and it opens up a possiblity that would be perfect for The Film Crew to get involved with...
Something Weird Video

I've seen some of their films, and a lot of them are MST3k quality.  I would think twice about using some of them because of the soft-core element to a lot their movies have.

I must say however, the movie Monster of Sunshine Camp (released by Something Weird) is just amazingly awful/great.  Get this:  Killer mice chase a nurse out of a 4 storey window.  And that's just incidental!   ;D

Personally I wish the Film Crew guys were just rich as hell and had the money to buy the rights to almost any movie they wanted and put it all out them selves.

That's what small Midwestern UHF TV stations are for ;)

Something Weird has a DVD of all trailers as well.  They are actually quite funny for the most part.

I'm gonna go for Killers From Space... Peter Graves is a personal hero of mine (not really, I just like saying his name... Peter Graves.... Peter....Graves!)
