Dead Rising's save points were a huge disappointment to me but the game play is pretty fun.

I completed Crackdown - which is surprising to me, as a I generally suck at games like that - and I've moved onto Fight Night: Round Three.  I can't quite get the hang of this thing called "blocking", so I'm not the best at it.  I'll feel much more comfortable when my copy of Enchanted Arms arrives and Blue Dragon is released.

I tried out Enchanted Arms and for some reason i didnt like it much. It must just be the style that they had set it up as. A lot of time reading the dialog from the characters and i got confused by the fighting system.  I was glad that i had just rented it instead of actually buying it.  (hopefully you dont feel the same way i did since you bought your copy)

I really really liked the demo for Blue Dragon.  That looks like a lot of fun.  the only thing i got annoyed with was the music was very repetitive, maybe it wont be as bad with the fully version. And i was surprised with myself for liking it so much since im not totally into cute japanese stuff. its on my to buy list.

I'm playing through Scarface the Game (surprisingly good), while simultaneously swearing at Resident Evil 4 on the PC.  No mouse support my angry fat ass...

Well, I've played through about 20% of the game so far, and it's not a great game.  I quite like the fighting system, as it sort of reminds me of the old Shining Force games, or Heroes of Might & Magic.  On the whole though, it feels very much like a sub-standard Final Fantasy game.

I also played the demo for Stranglehold the other day and was impressed.  The level was lots of fun, though it may become slightly repetitive.  You can definitely feel the John Woo influence.

I agree, probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever wasted $20 on (that's a lie), next to the $30 I wasted on the Wii edition. I keep hoping when I buy a different edition for this game it will be more awesome than the first version I played, but after I play the newer version I just wish I had stuck to the PS2 version and left it at that. I love Resident Evil 4, but Capcom keeps screwing up every time they try something new with it.

I like the Wii version a lot....though I hadn't played any others.  What do you find wrong with it?

I just cannot for the life of me ever get used to the controls. I'm not sure if I missed the boat on the learning curve and I'm just too dumb to play it on my Wii.

Ah, good.  Just making sure I wasn't getting short changed some how by getting the Wii version.  I picked up the controls pretty quickly, and to me they feel incredibly responsive.  It sounds like you probably played RE4 a lot for the PS2, and it's completely understandable that you would have trouble adjusting to the new controls.

playin' GUITAR HERO II for Xbox 360 like a crazy person... gamertag: Steve Vai 87

Guitar Hero II on the PS2 - Got 4 stars on Free Bird on Expert, going back and trying to 5-star everything. My tag on ScoreHero is "SomeKindofRobot" but  I haven't updated it in forever.

Mario Strikers: Charged - I love this game. And hate it. But only because I love it. Damn evil game.

Cosmic Muse

At this moment I'm playing a game called Virtual Villagers, but my game of choice is the Sims 2 for the PC. Can't wait for Bon Voyage.

Is it weird to hear the Safety Dance in my head watching Game of Thrones?
