The collector's edition is the theatrical edition, it should work fine.

As we've said before, there shouldn't be any version of this movie that will not work with the RiffTrax.

How about if you find one that doesn't, post about it here.  Otherwise, see the above answer to your question.

Well I don't count Full Screen, I just assume people would never touch it.
Funny how barely a decade or so ago it was exactly the opposite.  (My friends couldn't understand why I went gaga over widescreen movies.  "But the picture's so SMALL!" and I'd be left to watch Bladerunner by myself.)

I also have that collection, and I played it with the RiffTrax, and it works perfectly.  You should have no problem.
By the way, I was being sarcastic.

Doctor Manhattan

Thanks everyone.

I went ahead and purchased the rifftrax and it works perfectly with the BI disc from the newly released set. I love the rifftrax with all three of the fellas from http://www.filmcrewonline.com/ and that other show they used to work on.

So I went to my local Wal-Mart today to pick up The Bourne Identity for the sole purpose of Downloading the Riff and watching it.  I figured it would be cheap so why rent it.  Well Wal-Mart had Bourne Identity, and for only $9.44, but they had some kind of Special Edition verson that claimn to have an Alternate Beginning and Ending.  But I assume they're riffing the regular old movie that came out years ago.  So I didn't buy it.  Am I right?  Is it the non-Special Edition verson they riff?

Every available version of the DVD gives you the option to play the theatrical cut, which is the cut they riffed.

I recorded my version live in the theater with a hand held video camera and I had to change tapes twice.  Will the trax work for this version.

You're in luck, Raven! Mike, BIll and Kevin recorded a special version of the trax, just for people in your situation! They took a standard copy of the Rifftrax, burned it to CD and popped it in a CD player. Then Carl, the Rifftrax intern, was given a handheld cassette recorder which he held up next to the speaker and then recorded the Rifftax as it played. And, as an extra bonus, you get a minute's worth of Winger's "Seventeen" which Carl recorded after accidentally hitting the toggle from "CD" to "FM". Just send Rifftrax your address and they'll send you out this version, conveniently recorded on 2 C60 cassette tapes! Rifftrax! We go that extra mile for our customers!

I have the Bourne Supremacy, it's all I could find, will this movie work as a substitute for the Bourne Identity?

The post directly above this one explains that this exact version works fine, as will any version of the movie.  Since we have answered the question of "will this version of the DVD work" (the answer is 'yes'), please don't post here, unless you have a problem,  as it will only confuse people.

Haha, I'm outfoxing Netflix AND Blockbuster! I'm taping it off USA tonight! I'll teach 'em to never have riffed movies available! (as I fast-forward through commercials, grumble grumble grumble . . . )

So, the next question is, how well do the Blu-Ray versions work?
