This was the first rifftrax where I actually turned it off because I was interested in the movie.  It's a little disappointing they did this one because I thought it was pretty good.  Matt Damon is a good actor and I liked Good Will Hunting and thought he and Daredevil (I mean Affleck) definately deserved the oscar.
Can I touch your face?  Not with my hands......

They had me from, "This man is packed with peanuts."  An excellent rifftrax throughout.

As a fellow square-head, the film has sentimental value as well.  Frankenstein monsters everywhere rejoice.

I thought this was an excellent RiffTrax!  Especially since I got the movie before I knew it was going to be riffed.  I also think that riffing good movies actually adds to the experience rather than spoiling it (except riffing a Kurosawa film might be a little awkward, but stuff like good solid action films are always enjoyable).

There were some really good laughs throughout.  I particularly like the riffs about the music like "...So slip into the tub, pur yourself some absinthe and open up your wrists.  Here's some Brian Eno.", "This soundtrack was recorded by The Edge one night in a bar, when someone bought him a Guinness" and "Shock The Monkey...Shock The Monkey...".  This is one of the best RiffTrax I've seen in a while (however, it's no Aeon Flux or The Matrix, but it's definitely up there).
By the way, I was being sarcastic.

I thought they were going a little overboard on the "European women don't shower and don't shave their pits" jokes.   Other than that it was pretty enjoyable.

I loved their treatment of the fight with the assassin in the apartment.

Gibborino

I skipped this one. I didn't care for The Bourne Identity, but that's mainly because I found the story somewhat dull and predictable. I can't deny that it was a well-made movie with excellent production values. In my experience, I've found that the weakest RiffTrax's are usually the ones where the guys heckle movies like this, that were well-made and don't leave themselves that open to mockery. I also didn't like it when they did "Casino Royale" for the same reason.

However, I'm really looking forward to their treatment of Independence Day within the next week. So long as they stick to crappy over-the-top movies like that, the comments are usually gold.

Gotta admit... this was a bad choice. The riff would distract from the movie, then the movie would distract from the riff. It was a well done movie. Still, fun.

(ps- Too much reliance on European jokes.)

I found myself accidentally focusing on the movie at times since it's been I guess now about 7 years since I first saw it and sometimes forcing myself to focus on the rifftrax even though I wanted to hear the dialogue in the movie......  Also the fart jokes are still no longer funny to me....

But I actually liked this overall more than 300

"A European woman showering? Alright movie I'll suspend my disbelief."

Just Some Guy

I thought this Rifftrax was hysterical.  Definitely one of the best.  And that might have been the best opening they've ever done.

The eternal good movie debate has returned though, and by a strange coincidence it's yet another spy action movie.  Maybe fans of those are a bit more high strung than people who like movies about chocolate factories.  I prefer riffing on the awful films but if Mike and the rest can riff good... er... decent... er... watchable movies this well then does it really matter what I think of the movie?

It has been a long time since I watched this movie without toppings, but I must say, there were only a few instances where I was more intrigued with Bourne than Mike and the bots.  One of those being the flashback to the yacht where he couldn't kill the guy.  Gotta say though, they hit strong notes consistently and there weren't droughts of hilarity.  But you can't really go by me, I'd sign up to have Mike riff every waking moment of my life (and probably some of my dreams).

Rock solid! The movie wasn't half bad (I'm toying with the idea of seeing the other two), but there were SO many golden riffs that came out of this one as well. It ranks up there with Firewall and Casino Royale in my book. Keep the big-budget Intrigue/Espionage movies coming! :^)

I'd love to see Rifftrax venture into the realm of romantic comedy.  There are plenty that have it coming.  Sometimes you gotta dare to do something different.  Anything with J-Lo would be great.

This was a pretty good Rifftrax. Not as strong as 300, but it wasn't the worst either. I spent a good amount of time trying to place Bourne's familiar looking love interest actress before I finally got off my lazy tail and looked at the movie credits (it's been a while since I've seen Run Lola Run). Naturally after I looked up her name, the guys started making Lola reference jokes about her. But not before. Heh.

As a sidenote, I'm trying to figure out what anyone sees in Matt Damon. He looks like he got his head caught in a car door once upon a time and someone repeatedly slammed it shut on his face.

Pak-Man

With Blonde Hair, Mat Damon could almost be an adult Hank Venture. :^)

Or am I nuts? :^)
