Nowhere in Mulberry *Shameless Plug!*

[TheJastrom]

Constantly promoting your same site over and over (even if you keep it confined to one thread) isn't adding anything to the board (considering that its the only thing he posts about here).

Do i really need to defend myself and mention i've posted in other areas of the forum? What exactly are you adding to the board? My posting every week about the latest episode is just to point out what we're talking about this week on this particular show. Maybe we're covering something someone might want to check out. Again I posted here about the show because I thought if there was anyone that might get us is an MST fan.

I agree we should suggest an area for plugs or peoples sites, blogs, podcasts, films etc.

Don't mind the spider guy...I think he's the self-appointed sheriff of the forum. I may be a "newbie," but I've lurked since day one...and believe me, if it weren't for telling others what to do, he'd probably still be in the "newbie" category himself.

Well, maybe I'm overstating a bit...he does add to the conversation when he's not on patrol.

[Tarantulas]

It's nothing personal, but once you spread the word, consider the word spread.

Nothing against your site, I'm sure its great, but we are all WELL informed about it now.

You can't get too upset when people point out your shameless self promotion when you yourself label it a "Shameless Plug".

Well, maybe I'm overstating a bit...he does add to the conversation when he's not on patrol.

I mostly try to steer people to the proper threads and post links when a question has been answered already.

Nube wrangling is like cat herding most of the time, but I do what I can.

[Locksley]

So Jastrom...tell me more about your site.

Sorry, I just couldn't resist.

[Tarantulas]

He's got a whole site dedicated to it.. check it out..

"Hey kids, are you ready for some FOOTBALL?"

Anyway as far as the 'shameless plugging' goes, as long as its contained to one thread and they do go *BUMP*ing it for no real reason, i don't see the harm. Hell, the title says 'shamless plug' so everyone, even us poor wet behind the ears newbs, know what the thread will most likely be about so we can avoid it if we don't wanna read about it...

[Tarantulas]

We can't start a little faux-drama to get this guy some visitors?  You are TOTALY ruining the routine, dude.

[Pak-Man]

Isn't ruining drama what we're all about here?

[Tarantulas]

That the TNT network you're thinking of.
