While I enjoyed the movie, the guy writing this is not wrong about anything here.

I read that whole script there. Not sure if I agree with the extreme amount of bashing. One note, The whole internet problem, there's a thing called Wifi. Granted there wasn't 19th century wifi, but I dont think this guy thought that part through. Technically megatron could have awakened and immediately linked up and learned english....hes a robot, wouldnt take but a few seconds. However you cant or shouldnt be able to hack into a military network with wifi, hence the attacks. Why hacking airforce 1 is bullshit I dont know. You hack the supercomputer on the airplane that is meant for doomsday which is satellite linked, seems fairly plausible to me, unnecessary maybe but not a complete flaw.

I do have a problem with bumblebee shape shifting as well. That was a clear mistake.......by GM.

Bay does completely suck, but so far this is the only movie that I thought he didnt completely ruin. Never really thought transformers made sense anyway. I dont see how this movie could have ruined my childhood. I watched transformers a s a kid for the giant fucking robots and ahem the toys were cool. Dont see how he strayed, not to mention the original transformers premise seemed to make less sense than bay's interpretation.

I should mention, the guy who wrote that is always excessively cruel towards the movies. He's done the LotR Trilogy with almost as much scorn.

I dont think he was trying to make some political comment.  Thats how it was in the cartoon, Autobots were commercial products and the Decepticons were military hardware.

The thing I realized immediately when I watched the film:

BERNIE refuses to negotiate, but then BUMBLEBEE uses his stereo to completely destroy the windows of BERNIE'S other cars.

My God. My entire inventory. Ruined. I'll never be able to pay for the repairs to all of these vehicles. My business is ruined. You single-handedly just completely destroyed my life. All because I wanted another thousand dollars for the coolest car on the fucking planet.
