Yeah, I was assuming he was using the GUI version.  Maybe I'm wrong and only the Mac version can MUX the audio with the video.  That would be weird.  Nobody uses ffmpeg to MUX their re-authors?  It works good for me on my Mac.  Fast too since it's unix based.

Hiya, yes, I am using FFmpegGUI for Windows, and there is no place to input video to be muxed. Only enough control to convert an audio file???

Also, these discs I'm making stutter in my PC but nothing else. Anyone else experience this before?

Thanks for your time guys!

Well, I finally got LOTR to work.  Interesting thing is, I had to redo it from the start, the sound on it was all messed up.  Both times of doing the process, ffmepg wouldn't open the lotr files, so I had to switch to rejig, and that worked fine.  And the 2nd time through it the sound worked fine and dvd shrink decided it was going to work for me this time, and it all worked just fine.

If I want to silence Disembaudio,   do I just have to go through the entire riff and listen for his cues, or is there a rough estimate of when he pops up, like every 10 to 20 minutes or so, give or take?

The guide is perfect........but if you want to take it one step further [and have access to the program] :

I used BeLight to separate the .ac3 into 6 separate mono WAVs....and imported into Sony's Acid Pro w/ a Dolby Digital 5.1 encoder plugin.

I was then able to add the RiffTrax file, along with the 6 other tracks you hear with a surround sound system, and edit them accordingly.  i.e. left, right, center, rear left, rear right, and the subwoofer.

I placed the RiffTrax in the center AND the two rear speakers and exported as an .ac3.

Now it's like Mike is in the room with me, and I can hear the orignal audio of the movie as intended!!!    .....works great for the action movies, at least!!

.....Please note that the Acid Pro software is NOT freeware, so you have to pay for it......but if you have any musician friends or something it's possible they  may be able to help you out.

Just thought I would brag a little!

hello all, i hope im not asking a quest that has been answered but everytime i rip the video file, in either dvd decrypter or rejig it stops at around the 4.29 Gb. the file can be played but the video is incomplete. the audio rips fine. if set it to rip the video in pieces, it rips all the video. it took me 3 dvds to realize that it had done this to me. xmen cut off at xavier and magneto playing chess, so i made it most of the way through, but predator cut out around the hour mark. this is very frustrating having now tried to rip both dvds around 5 different times. any advise will be assimilated

Check your IFO options in DVD Decrypter.  Look at the box called Filesplitting and set the options to : None.  This should give you One M2V(video) file.  If that dosent work, check your DVD and make sure it isn't scratched.  Sometimes my scratched DVDs sometimes get screwed up when i rip them....hope this helps....

MysSci3k

nope....the only way i can rip a full video is if i rip the vob files. i ripped in just about every mode on rejig and dvd decrypter. it stops ripping video at around 4.2 Gb, whether i have it break the file or not. i am not liking this prob at at

SecretAgentSuperDragon

Have you tried it with just 1 dvd? If so, try it with another one and see what happens. For dvd decrypter, you shoulding be ripping in ifo mode with the main video and audio file getting ripped, not the vob files.

Do you have enough free space on your hard drive? I don't really know any other reason that 2 different discs would stop after taking up the same amount of space.

Something I've done a couple times is using Decrypter to make a copy of the disc on the hard drive then use rejig on the that copy, it may help a bit

MysSci3k

i think this is a computer problem. i have over 35 Gigs available and no matter what i do it wont let me rip a dvd, make an iso of the dvd, essentially make a single file over 4.3 Gigs. i tried to make an iso so i could use that to make my dvd, but it stopped at 4.3 Gigs as well. DVD Decrypter even says that there is 29 Gigs left.......i went over to my brothers house to try it there and it worked flawlessly.....i feel so alone... ???

MysSci3k

EUREKA!!! i did a little research on the net and found out the prob. for whatever reason, my file system was still FAT32!! for those of you keeping track at home, FAT32 doesnt allow single files over 4 Gigs. i converted it over to NTFS and everything works great. i'm as giddy as a school girl  ;D
