Are there any Roger Corman movies that Mike/Joel et al haven't done yet?
Loads.  In fact there was a "Made for the Sci-Fi Channel" one on last night called SuperGator that would be perfect if it ever comes out on DVD.

Dementia 13 was produced by Corman.  Not the best film in the world.  Battle Beyond the Stars - a rehash of The Magnificent Seven in space starring Richard Thomas - is Corman too.  Don't know if that's still on DVD though.

I remember Battle Beyond the Stars. Man, when I was a wee tyke, I thought that was cool stuff, not thinking that it was a complete blatant Star Wars rip-off with significantly less money.

What about a riff on "The Jerky Boys"?

You couldn't pay a lot of us to watch that....even with a Rifftrax.

Might as well do another Adam Sandler movie.  I mean these aren't like the old show or the "Annual Blockbuster Reviews" where the movies were cut down or only clips were used.  Sitting through every freaking minute of these crappy movies can get to be a real chore.

I don't know about anyone else but I never even thought about getting Crossroads for that reason.  I can't envision sitting through that film.  Even if Joel had been riffing on it.  I know friends who have tried and later agreed with me....they couldn't make it through that whole movie.

10. Street Fighter: The Movie - Because Van Damme needs to be riffed
9. The Delta Force - because Chuck Norris doesn't do pushups, he pushes the world down
8. The Borne Identity (or Supremicy) - Just think it lends itself to riffing
7. Paycheck - Ben Affleck needs to be riffed again
6. Deep Blue Sea - Any Movie where Sam Jackson dies and LL Cool J survives needs to be riffed
5. Robin Hood: Prince of Theves - We all went to 7th grade dances where the theme is played
4. Swordfish - All of the 7 internets requires it
3. National Treasure - Nicholas Cage is always fun to riff
2. Gone in 60 Seconds - See: Reason for #3
1: Under Siege - c'mon it's Segal

Mike wouldn't be able to save the "The Jerky Boys", in other words.

How about some of the 80s Sci-Fi classics?

* Tron
* The Flight of the Navigator
* The Explorers (With River Pheonix and Ethan Hawke)
* The Last Starfighter
* The Black Hole

Or...let's go a bit further back:

* Xanadu
* Zardoz
* Logan's Run
* Alien
* At The Earth's Core
* Audrey Rose
* The Brood
* Capricorn One
* Empire of the Ants

And...or course...

* Kingdom of the Spiders

Nothing short of a gasoline fire would "save" that, IMHO.

I agree with everyone except  The Last Starfighter - fun movie with a good heart.  And Lance Guest was a cutie.   :)

QuoteOr...let's go a bit further back:  * Xanadu

They'll talk over the music.  And that's the only good part of that film...outside of the costumes.

Quote* Zardoz...* Capricorn One

Now we're talking!

Quote* Alien

What's with all the hate around here for Alien?

QuoteAnd...or course...* Kingdom of the Spiders

They can bitch the whole time about this being on DVD at all when so many more deserving movies are still sitting in vaults and I'd be happy....

I don't think there's any hate for Alien, or any other suggestion for that matter. A movie doesn't have to be terrible to be a riff candidate (although I admit it helps). Some people (I think) suggest movies they like, just to see them get the treatment. It's fun to see a movie you already like get riffed... and it's a lot easier than trying to sit through Castle of Fu Manchu lol...

Just my interpretation... personally,  don't think any film is above being riffed.

For example, I am a LOTR fanatic...but after watching LOTR a few hundred times, it's nice to see a different interpretation of it (IE: The Riff Trax)

It's not a question of hate, it's a matter of having a sense of humour.

Actually...Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan may be a good candidate.

...an even better candidate:
Star Trek (the original series): Where No Man Has Gone Before

riff 10, eh? this should be simple enough...
10: Black Dahlia
    *the charm of a colonoscopy with the plot continuity of a Rodger Corman flm*
  9: Open Water
    *thrill-a minute suspence cavlecade on par with the opening driving scene of Manos-The Hands Of Fate*
  8: Bhram Stoker's Dracula
    *or any other film where Anthony Hopkins scrumps someones leg*
  7: The Fugitive
    *outhouse...doghouse...wafflehouse...coffeehouse...bauhaus...the possibilities are endless!*
  6: saw
    *i think DisembAudio would enjoy this one with all the evil disembodied voice and all*
  5: the Wizard of Oz
    *this falls under 'why the hell not?'*
  4: clerks 2
    *or any Kevin Smith movie for that matter...except jersy girl...i am merciful.*
  3: queen of the damned
    *the special effects leave something to be desired...like skill*
  2: Krull
    *have you seen krull...?*

and the one movie i wild currently line to see riffed the most...

  1: Snakes On A Plane
    *somewhere in the grand esoteric cosmos, i beleive that their exists a higher and nigh-incomprehensible form of natural order. to whit, i beleive that Muthaphukkin' snakes on a muthaphukkin' plane and rifftrax were each set in motion by a conspiring astral force to compliment one another. Mystery science theatre 3000? pulp fiction? mere vehicles, my good friend; vectors by which the possibility of snakes and rifftrax were made actual and co-existant. a rifftrak for snakes on a plane would, in my humble perspective, complete the natural cycle of human endevor.*
I cant read all of these tonight, but open water, I forgot about that crap movie......but if the people in charge read this  PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do lost in translation, please give me a reason for owning this overratted piece of $%$%#  Thank you.............M

I thought Crossroads was one of the funniest Rifftrax. The movie's terrible, but it's more like goofy bad. I had no problem sitting through it.

Anyway, my list:

1. Power Rangers: The Movie
2. Supergirl
3. Star Wars: Episode III
4. Star Trek: The Motion Picture
5. Hobgoblins 2
6. Halloween 2 (An annual Halloween thing)
7. Freddy v. Jason (Or any of their respective films)
8. Armaggeddon
9. Jaws 3 or 4
10. Die Hard 2, 3, or the awful 4th one that just came out.

Right, another list:

* National Lampoon Lemmings
* National Lampoon Going The Distance
* Caddyshack
* National Lampoon's Vacation
* Fletch
* Fletch Lives
* Spies Like Us
* The Three Amigos
* Nothing But Trouble

I like your list ;D I'd like to throw several of those actors... err... I mean movies under the bus

call_me_nuveena

I'm afraid that most of the films I'd want riffed would consist mostly of Mike et. al. puking theatrically into a bucket.  Not just because they're bad movies, they're also obscenely disgusting.

*sigh*
