Make sure to vote for which movie you want the Film Crew to riff first!
Polls are, apparently, still open~  :P

Man, this is my chance to vote and have my voice heard.   :P

Kind of reminds me of Soviet era premier elections.

Admin?... Yeah, right. If that site even has an admin, he's probably been drinking down at the bar with the admin for www.michaeljnelson.com for the last few years!  :D

* "Hey Bob, dontcha' think we should get back to the office and update our websites?"

* "Update?! Ha!... That's a good one. Let me buy you another beer!"

J-Proof

My only issue with the review is that they call RiffTrax a low tech way to huff MST's fumes =P

Yeah, but at least they don't outright bash the product.  It's enough of a mention to make the curious come check out the website, which is pretty good methinks.

Hmmmmm......I haven't heard any new news from Shout Factory.  I guess I'll send them an email.  ???

I watched the Film Crew's Hollywood After Dark the other night and absolutely loved it.  I realize this was done 2 years ago, but I would welcome future additions after the initial four episodes are all released. Reminded me a lot of the old MST3K, not sure if it was because of the cheesiness of the movie or the skits, but it was a great combination.

He wants to know which movie the Film Crew will be riffing first, silly.  I've been waiting since I voted in the poll and I'm also anxious to finally find out.  ;)

Is there a reason why it took so long to see the light of day?

Rhino was going to put them out and rumor has it they were prevented from releasing them.

Fuzzy Necromancer

I got the DVD, and I have some mixed feelings.

The DVD itself is rather spartan. It couldn't be more spartan if it had to go out at the age of 20 with only a cloak and a dagger and kill a helot. No subtitles, one feature, not even a scene selection.

The riffing was on-target, and I think it was superior to their usual stripper-commentary riffs. However, the sound was almost infuratingly weak. Not sure if that was the DVD or the source material though. The comments about the depressing nature were exceedingly good, and the opening scene with the male lead crushing Rue's hope was spectacular.
