I actually am looking forward to this movie (strange for me, I know), because you know ahead of time exactly what to expect (lots of explosions and violence with no excuses, no preamble, and no good reason), and you know it will deliver. Yummy.

You know, I don't think I've ever seen a Die Hard movie all the way through. Yes, I realize that as an American male, that means I've fallen in my duty to see all kick-ass movies, but there ya go. One thing I can say is that video actually made me want to see the movies, so good job. Nothing like watching someone blowing sh*t up and swearing profusely to get the blood pumpin'.

I was inspired to put in my DVD of the first Die Hard a few nights ago. I gotta say that McClane is becoming my favorite action movie hero. It's one thing to have a suave James Bond smirking and sexing his way through movies or The Rock getting all... Rock-ish, but it's so refreshing to see a hero who just grits his teeth and shows some genuine stoicism. That said, I don't think giving McClane a 20something hacker sidekick was a good decision (Justin Long is going to be a colossal pain in the ass).

I hate alterna-pop-punk whatever.... but that song / video kicks all kinds of ass. I love it.

Eagerly looking forward to LFODH, despite the USA13 rating (I heard that there is potential for an R-cut DVD).. I actually just bought the new DH Trilogy box set for around $30 at Circuit City. Will probably watch those this weekend.

Die Hard is definitely one of the greatest action movies ever made (the greatest, according to Entertainment Weekly, actually).  I think if you're a guy, it's basically required viewing.  And  that was a cool video.
