So wait, completely tacked on, exploitative nudity is a nice change from a movie where the really good looking woman is actually treated as a person?

I mean, I'm a fan of nudity (on women (who are good looking)) but come on, man.

Yeah, that's where my sense of good taste and social... je ne se qua, overwhelm my desire to see Jessica Alba's skin.

My God that sounded creepy.

You know, I was wondering if there was a Fantastic Four riff available. It pleases me to find thios out since I own a DVD of the movie. (I also own the Corman version on DVD but I don't think it's highly likely there will be a Riff Trax for that version though it is very high in riffability.)
Being a genocidal maniac is not one of my turn ons.

Is it weird to hear the Safety Dance in my head watching Game of Thrones?

By the way, Lady D, is that Corman one worth the 20 bucks they charge at Comicons? At least for the spectacle?

I've been able to find it cheaper on Ebay than those Comicon's. It's a guilty pleasure of mine so I would recommend the Corman version just because it's entertaining in that cheesy Corman way. Trust me, I've seen worse bootlegged, not meant for public consumption, movies. Try googling the Justice League of America Unsold Pilot. There's a reason why it was unsold.  ;)

Holy Crap!  I wrote that review years ago.  I'm a little ashamed of it in some ways, namely the errors involving using capitals where I shouldn't and other such errors.  And it just wasn't that great.  I totally forgot I did that.

As for the superhero thing. Keep 'em coming... i'm looking forward to Ghost Rider myself.

Ghost Rider would rule.  I hope they do it. Last time we went to a movie, my boyfriend and I saw a commercial for it that said "Available on DVD June 12,"  and we both just looked at each other and said "Rifftrax version available June 13!"   In an ideal world.... :)

What the hell was with that blind chick at the bar being sexually attracted to The Thing for no apparent reason?
Did I fall asleep and miss some kind of character development or plot device that would explain her sudden desire to feel-up a stranger at a bar, and then go home inexplicably.

Her charicter has always been drawn to lost souls.

... and jerks. So it's pretty consistent with her charicter, I think. Course, they carfully avoided the "artist" part of her charicter.

I've got both the Corman Fantastic Four and Justice League Pilot.  They are both fantastically bad.

Personally I prefer the Doctor Strange TV movie from the 70s.  Now that was cheesy.

I'd forgotten about that one. I'd love to get my hands on a copy.

QuoteMost of it was pretty solid, except for Mr. Fantastic's contribution. "I'll, uh, redirect the water to flow in the exact same direction the water was already spraying! I'm useful here, really!"

He not only concentrated the water flow but he also raised it up and sprayed it down on Doom.

Sort of the difference between spraying a fire with your hose on the spray setting or the jet setting.
