I know that they're aware of Neil Breen and his movies. I've seen comments from them that say they want to riff them. But I think they want to do a synched riff where they sell the movie with the riff, and Neil has resisted because, as you likely know, Neil Breen takes an absurd amount of pride in his movies. He won't allow them to be shown at midnight in theaters because he views his movies as being above the typical movie you'd see in a midnight feature. He brags about his movies and seems to be in denial as to the actual reputation he has. And thats a good thing because it means he continues to produce the kind of so bad its good movies we love from him. Tommy Wiseau hasn't had another hit because he realized how people viewed "The Room" and thought he could make a go of producing comedies.

But like you, I hope we see Neil Breen's movies riffed by the rifftrax crew some day. I just think we're going to have to wait a while, till Neil needs more money at least.

I have met Neil Breen and asked him, and he will not license his movies to Rifftrax or anyone else to make fun of them. We specifically said they had called before and he turned them down

you have to understand that he is the man you see on screen, and that that's why he doesn't allow his movies to be shown after 10 o'clock because they're not "midnight movies" They're  manifestoes

I don't think his audience is large enough for an MP3. We are talking about a man who is going to release anything to digital and still ships out DVDs, not even Blu-ray's that he burns himself and puts a label on with an ink jet printer. He's not even going to send them out to be professionally replicated
