Local mice don't like hardware store bait sold as "better than peanut butter". Do like peanut butter. Very disappointed in our current pack of dogs. A couple of the ones no longer with us were great rodent catchers.

Been craving iced tea. Don't like sweet tea, just plain black tea. Great value gallon of premade tea was weak - water with a slight tea flavor. Aldi's had 100 tea bags for $1.99. 10 bags in a 2 quart mason jar left overnight much better and cheaper than the premade

Local summer farmers market not what it used to be. Still lots of booths, but not many actual farmers and not a huge selection of produce. Lots of booths selling crap like soy candles, hemp clothing, dragon art, cheap jewelry, etc. Quite a few food trucks. Apparently people here love food truck egg rolls because both of those trucks had block long lines. Made for a cheap morning of people watching but had to stop at grocery store on way home to get my veggies.

I promise, I'm not trying to make this about me, but I feel like I need to say this.

I know some people here are probably not pleased to see me again. I know many of you didn't care for me after the last conversation I had with others here, and I know some have had plenty of friction with me in the past. I don't blame you, but given that it's been over 2 and half years since my last login, I can only say that I've grown.

I can promise I am trying to do and be better. I'm not the same person I was 2.5 years ago. I'm older, I weigh less, I'm less selfish, and I've been accused of being "woke", a dirty commie, a "libtard", and other words I don't feel comfortable repeating.

Welcome back. There's not many of us left on this here forum anymore unfortunately..
Only a few still frequent here now and it can go for days without anyone posting anything.
I'm still looking out for spammers mostly but don't post much here anymore myself.
Maybe if others return, the forum can become lively once again but the last couple of years here has been like a ghost town :-\

It is sad to see a community die.  They don't even put up the child boards for new releases anymore.
I'm not particularly religious, and I don't really like Muppets, but I do love word play.

Welcome back Russ
Thank you Edward. :)

I've been going to karaoke over the last 7 or 8 months, having a lot of fun, and burning a shit ton of calories because, I swear.... the AC is either non-existent or never on, lol.

I made a new friend there, who is trans, and she is a super, super sweet person. I was amazed at how much we had in common.

Last night, I sang "I'm just Ken", and that was a huge hit with everybody.  ;D

Pac was handling those.. He may have stopped or just gotten behind in keeping up with them :-\

Welcome back!
Thanks Lucas! *hugs*

I've been singing as many outrageous songs as I possibly can at Karaoke, because I feel close to 100% free to cutting loose. For example, last month I sang Weird Al's "Yoda", and sang part of the song in Yoda's voice.

I'm both pleased and surprised at how much people enjoy my brand of ridiculous crooning.

I also have sung "It's easy Mmmkay" from South Park: bigger, longer and uncut, "The Loophole" by Garfunkel and Oates, "Amish paradise". One night I even sang "Detachable Penis" by King Missile.

Laughed my ass off the entire time, almost.

I love karaoke.  I don't get around to doing it that often though.  Last month I was on vacation in Reno and I ended up singing karaoke at a place that turned out to be a brothel.  I got to sing Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" with a couple of the ladies, and I greatly enjoyed watching the song "Whore" sung by literal prostitutes.

Tell your friend it is Sagebrush Ranch at 51 Kit Kat Drive, Mound House Nevada.

I wonder why all the brothels are called ranches.
