Bridget and Mary Jo

[Pak-Man]

Bridget and Mary Jo are definitely putting out a lot more this year (Mostly in the form of shorts), but Mike and the gang aren't putting out any less. So it just leads to more Rifftrax overall. B&MJ are a separate team, so when they put something out, it's not "instead of," it's "in addition to."

Well. I pay to laugh, that means if what I am seeing is not making me laugh, and they are going to focus for a while on things that do not make me laugh, then perhaps I should stop paying for that which does not make me laugh and come back when they shift focus to things that do make me laugh. Look I am not so self centered to think that everything on this site or anywhere had to cater to my likes alone. If I like the steak I don't expect a vegan to come to the establishment and pay the same price for a plate of green beans. They don't like steak and I don't expect them to keep paying for it when they can get a perfectly good vegan meal up the road.  I am also sure these two ladies have plenty of fans and love their content, it just not for me. I'm not going to complain or whine I am simply going to vote with my wallet if this continues. Now if they keep up a good mix of riffers I' am fine with that it just appears as though they are posting a lot more of the ladies and a lot less of everyone else.

Wait - Are you a Friends subscriber rather than buying individually?

I'm sure a lot of decisions on what to release and by whom  are based sales. Rifftrax is a business after all. So Mary Jo and Bridget releases must be selling. I mean I really miss the days of all mp3 releases and wish we'd get more of those vs VODs as it allows riffing of a whole hell of lot more movies that deserve a good riffing, but I understand you gotta go with what sells. (And again, I personally love the Mary Jo and Bridget releases).

BTW Woman who came back is one their best riffs in a long time. A must see.

I like their riffs.
