I liked it. Terrible, cheesy movie.

I thought they cast were really good. It's weird to here a lady-voiced Crow, but I think she was really good.

Wonder who is hosting next ep?

Emily did a great job hosting. Crow will be an adjustment, but I think it will be fine after a few viewings.

The movie was a great choice. Those '70s convoluted crime capers always mix well with MST3K, and East Eddie provided a lot of material for the host segments, which all knocked it out of the park. Mothercrabber will go down in MST3K history alongside Every Country Has A Monster.

The Lurker

Pretty sure that Crow will only be present on Emily episodes.  Apparently, they were going to have Crow's actor from the tour voice, but he had to drop out for reasons.

Yeah, I know he had a kid that was born at the time, but he's really disappeared - deleted all of his social media etc. I hope they are doing OK.

Thought Emily and female Crow brought some personality that has mostly been missing from main new cast.

The cons: despised the new Crow. Even for a last minute replacement, did not associate that voice with Crow for a single second.

The pros: Emily is a natural. Alternate between her and Jonah every week and I am totally cool with that. Bavissimo.

Riffing was light years better than Robot Wars. While Santo was more insane, probably enjoyed this more overall.

I liked her take on her choice for the voice in the Q&A post movie. Previously the guys had always kept Crow to a similar voice, and there wasn't anyway she could do the same voice, so she went more for the attitude of Crow instead, and made sure her voice was different to Emily's.

Give it a chance to grow.

I love this group and the riff. There was so much energy and the film was a good one for riffing.

I have to say this was every bit as good as any of the best riffs in season 12 and I'm looking forward to more. I guess the live shows really helped them a lot because there was so much chemistry and timing for a first episode. Makes me sad I didn't see the live shows

Also the host segs were fantastic. And the best song of the new era. I haven't laughed that much at a song in a long time.

P.S. I wasn't so crazy about Robot Wars but the movie choice didn't help.

I totally agree. You're yesterday's news, "Every Country", "Mother Crabber" is my new jam now!

I would love to know if Sid Haig improvised that line or if it was in the script. I'm guessing he threw it in. Love Sid Haig.

The Lurker

Apparently, they had to tone down the film because they wanted to rope in John Wayne's son, so it possibly could be either one.
