(Ha, reminds me of a Bridget and Mary Jo short, and there's a bit where the narrator speaks of a guy who doesn't want to join the group, and follows his own pursuits, "Like minding his own business and buying comic books" - Bridget - amen to that!)

I am pretty sure I have the spare time to host one, barring some unexpected workload at my worksite, which would mean just nights and the weekend to write entries.  Usually this time of year I spend the work day looking at the clock while everyone else plays Angry Birds, Candy Crush, or whatever other game is the fad this year.

But without a poll, there is no way for me to tell if the topic I submit would get any participants.  Also, there are a couple of other topics which belong to other members that came close to winning that I would not mind being resubmitted.

I have an idea for one topic, but have no if anyone here would be interested.  Have a couple of old ideas for topics, but they failed spectacularly in the polls in the past. And have a bunch of other topics I wouldn't mind hosting, but they are other members ideas who probably intend to host them when they have the time to do so.

List your topic suggestions and list another of other topics brought up by others and see if there would be any objections to you possibly hosting it.
I'm game for attempting to participate but can't host due to my crazy post office work schedule.

The topics I would be interested in are top giant ape films, which got no more than three votes including my own, top 50 solo projects from members of Monty Python which got zero votes, and the new topic would be Worst Superhero Movies.

The topics others submitted were too recent and only a vote or two shy of winning the poll, so it is best I skip them rather than steal someone's idea that they may be planning to host at a later date.

With Christmas coming soon, has LoC tried this topic?
Top 50 Christmas Episodes.
This would be those episodes shown on regular television series the last week before their Christmas hiatus with a Christmas theme, usually a variation on the plots of A Christmas Carol or It's A Wonderful Life. I can tell you, a lot of the Christmas episodes from classic television are considered the worst of their respective series. But I can think of many times when the best episode from a series was the Christmas episode ( South Park had a bunch of great Christmas episodes. )

Ugh... that sucks. Used to be at least what? 20-30, just a few years back?

Yeah. Most people jumped off to more prominent forms of social media, and then, with less discussion, there's less reason to hang around, so the numbers just keep dwindling.

A lot of the old guard is hanging around the official MST3K forums at https://forums.mst3k.com/ and that one is still really active since there's an active crowdfunding campaign right now.

Not to scare you away from here! By all means stick around and spark conversation. It's not impossible that we could get things rolling again with enough people actively talking.
