What parts were cut out?

I am liking the VOD so far, I really do as it's about time they riffed this movie (even if it's a Special Rifftrax Edit one).

My question is what parts of the film were cut out for this release in case I will watch the unriffed version at a later time.

You know the part where the angel Clarence shows George what life in Bedford Falls would have been like if he'd never been born? (i.e. the plot of the movie)?  That part has been cut out.
Earlier today I severed my own head and attached it to the bell of this baritone saxophone.

For what it's worth, the riff they use to cover up that edit is HILARIOUS.

Haven't got to the part in the viewing but I did look ahead and saw it. And the riffs from the Yule Log episode aren't in this one.

Oh well, better a riff of this movie than no riff at all, right?  ;D

Clarence's solution is much more straightforward in this version.

As someone who's never actually seen the original, I had to pause the riff at that point and go find the real film somewhere. (Luckily, it was free for Amazon Prime folks.)

The sequence they cut out is so much the integral heart, the whole *point* of the movie that the riffed version is basically unwatchable. It'd be like releasing a version of A Christmas Carol without the whole "visited by 3 ghosts" bit. Scrooge is a jerk, and the next morning wakes up and starts buying turkeys and handing out money to everyone he meets. The End.

I don't expect they will, but I for one would really like to buy a Just The Jokes version of the riff so I could put together a riffed version of the complete movie. Hell, I don't even need any more material written for the edited-out bits...

For what it's worth, after I remixed the riff with my copy of the full movie (runtime 2:10:13), the riff still made perfectly good sense save for two jokes, one of which you would just take as a swing and a miss.

Same here, wound up dropping the audio from the RiffTrax version into place on a copy of the full movie (colorized, as well) from Amazon. Still would like (and buy) a Just the Jokes version with some extra material for the excised sections, but if not, I'm good.

For those wondering, aside from the critical "no one knows you because you never existed" section (roughly 20 minutes), they also removed the 2-minute War montage, the sequence with George and Clarence in the bridge operator's office is trimmed in a few places, and I think there were a few other minor snips earlier in the film.
