The 2020 NFL Season Thread! CoronaVirus or Not

[RVR II]

So the Panthers release QB Kyle Allen and sign former XFL QB P.J. Walker ...

[ihavemyreasons]

Not NFL, but since you mentioned a XFL QB...when XFL cancelled the rest of their season, they announced they were paying the remaining downside guarantees to all players to show their intent of returning next year for another season. What they failed to mention is that the downside gurantee was $27K.

And Cam Newton is officially released by the Panthers.

Really looking forward to seeing how the Bills do this season after their great performance overall last season and I'm not expecting too much out of the 'rebuilding' Carolina Panthers.

[ihavemyreasons]

One thing I hadn't thought about with the new 17 game schedule is that some teams will get 9 home games and others only 8.
Packers get 9 and 6 of their last 9 games are at home.
Defending Super Bowl Champion Chiefs only get 8 home games.
