It's so good to see another short!  This was utterly brilliant!  Apparently absolutely everyone, including very young children, was stoned out of their minds in the 70's.  So stoned that they could not even adequately describe what drugs were like.  Loved the old school Lego they were playing with, really takes me back.  More shorts, please!

Just watched this again, trying to figure out the message.  It's very noncommittal isn't it?  It's not like the 'drugs will kill you' PSAs that I grew up with or the more recent 'if you buy drugs you are supporting the terrorists' ads.  The short seems to be saying drugs might possibly be really, really awesome OR you could end up having a really bad time.  There's no way to tell what will happen, so why risk it?  Kids, don't do drugs!  Even though they look like fun.

This one has me howling with laughter. I hadn't watched this in  long time. I saw it unriffed about 2-3 years ago when I bought a DVD of Prellinger Archive videos. I forgot how awful it was! This is hilarious.

This is great! Kind of like the exact opposite of The Terrible Truth, but no less ridiculous.

Ah, this was obviously made back in  the days before D.A.R.E. existed and told kids that if they used drugs even once, their heads would explode. Also, these two kids may be the dumbest kids I've ever seen in an educational film. Even more than the ones in the safety video. This was an awesome short!! I've really missed these things. And it's good to hear Mike again.
