Flag Icon for Forum

[gammer]

As discussed here:

We'd like the option of having a flag icon that we can put near our username, so we know where everyone is from.

shortstack posted a link to place that offers these for free:

Is this do-able?

Thanks...

There is a "CountryFlags" mod for the forum, if everyone seems to agree that it's a cool idea, I can install it. Let the people speak now or forever hold their pieces!

I vote yeah

[Pak-Man]

Why not? :^)

[BathTub]

Well I didn't get very many replies... not exactly the majority vote I was looking for. But, alas, I have installed this modification. You can find it by going to Profile > Forum Profile Settings. Scroll down and select your Country from a drop-down list.

A flag will then appear in your profile and next to your posts (such as is apparent in mine). This is optional of course, so if you don't like the look of it, you can just remove the Country from your profile.

Let me know what you all think. Maybe I should've started a poll for this thing..

Cool, thanks!

Well that's a nice little idea, and now this forum has plenty of little cool things attributed to it.

Good times.
