I've watched countless movies with the guys, but after a few viewings of Transformers with rifftrax i'm willing to say that it's the first movie to really make my brain hurt... the riff helps..but... oh man it hurts it hurts it hurts.....   I could follow with 200 pages of why Transformers is bad for society, but.. it would just make me write the word Transformers more, which shouldn't be allowed to happen.

I'm guessing the title for the sequel will really scramble your brain really good. It'll be titled:

Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen

Try to wrap your head around what that means in relation to plot significance for a few moments.
Being a genocidal maniac is not one of my turn ons.

Is it weird to hear the Safety Dance in my head watching Game of Thrones?

All the time I thought I was pretty hardened by repeatedly watching MST3K-Episodes but this movie left me speechless (and possibly brainless).

I could at best watch it like 20minutes at a stretch before 'deep hurting' kicked in.

Still it has gotten 7.5/10 (129,107 votes) at imdb... there is some strange folks out there.

Unfortunately, many die hard Transformer's nerds have gone into denial about this movie. They want it to be good so badly. They also say stupid stuff like "But they had the original voice of Optimus Prime!!" Uh huh. This makes it a good movie how?

I'd think it'd be insulting to the fans, especially how goofy and stupid the robots act.

I think this is the first movie that's been riffed that I haven't been able to watch start to finish, simply because I can't stand Transformers. I can't think of one redeeming quality to hold up.

I'm one of those die hard G1 Transformers fans myself and I have bashed this movie at any given moment I can regardless of them hiring Peter Cullen to do the voice of Optimus Prime.

Wow...that sounds like an album title for a shitty emo rock band.
Correction: the coat hanger should be upside down.

Holy shit this was bad. I knew it wasn't going to be anything great, but what the fucking fuck did I just watch?

It wasn't that bad. It was a mindless kind of movie, but it wasn't bad for a popcorn film.  It was giant transforming robots blowing shit up.  What else could you want from a transformers movie? Granted, Shia should have been in it less, but eh.  They had to set up a plot I guess and since the movie is at its base "giant robots blowing shit up" it couldn't be too complex.  Shia fits the bill.

Oh . . . umm, ignore my previous statement.

Besides, Peter Cullen is cool and all but the real kicker is that it had the original transforming sound.  Duh.  :)
mike5150 how tall are you?.....in gallons?

The information cracked into the glasses sold on eBay by Sam "Witwicky" being sought by outerspace robots who learned English from the internet I'm afraid does make it bad even for a popcorn film.

AmandaGal

Oh please.  I would say at least 80% of action films are just as retarded.  Show me a Bruce Willis/Will Smith/Arnold/Sam Jackson movie that doesn't have retarded stuff like that in it.

I guess nobody is claiming those are cinematic masterpieces either though.  I'm just saying, for what it was it wasn't *that* bad.

Yeah, I guess for being a stupid pile of unwatchable horrible crap, it wasn't THAT bad.
