I'm not sure I own any other album completely made up of rarities and b-sides that I love so much, save maybe for Super Sunny Speed Graphic.  In my ranking of my favorite Toad albums, this one might actually be number three, depending on my mood that day.

Johnny Unusual

Simpsons - Testify (which collects the most recent musical bits, including some never before released songs that never made it on the show, including a Sideshow Bob song!)

Wheaty Petestraw

Queens of the Stone Age - Rated R

Fuck, do these guys ever know how to make a party album.

my entry made my girlfriend laugh a few times, the best I can hope for really.

I'd say Whalberg definately qualifies as really good.

Nirvana - In Utero

Dude, what? Dave Grohl beats the fucking shit out of his drumkit. He's the real-life version of Animal from the Muppets.

Great album, has some cool inside information on some of his songs, and he has some alternate versions of some of his best songs. I love this album.

I absolutely LOVE this album!! That's the great thing about Toad: even though it's an unreleased track, it's still on the same level as the other releases.

"All Right" is probably my favorite song on the album.

WORD.  It's tied with "All in All" for me.

Side Two of the original LP contains some really terrific ballads.  "Kiss Me Baby," "She Knows Me Too Well," "I'm So Young" and "Please Let Me Wonder" are all excellent.  Arguably their best pre-Pet Sounds release.

(oh, also, for the record, the "three other songs written by Brian Wilson" trumpeted on the album cover are:  "In The Back Of My Mind," "I'm So Young" (not actually written by Brian Wilson," and "Bull Session With Big Daddy" (not a song).)

This Tuesday afternoon...

I've been retreating to the imagery of Hellboy 2 since I've seen it. So, I thought I'd complement the former by getting Elfman's score. It's a win for my imagination.

AND

Much like Weasel's My Brain Hurts, Weezer's BLUE, and Fugazi's Repeater...this album will never age for me.

Necrophagist - Epitaph

I finally picked up Necrophagist's last album.
I'm just about 4 years late to the party, i guess. Anyway... awesome album.
