Electric Light Orchestra - ELO2

One of my favorite bands, though not my favorite of their albums (that would be the incomparable "Out of the Blue.")  It is, however, the album where the band most closely realized their original stated goal of fusing pop and classical music.  Their cover of "Roll Over Beethoven" was the big hit, though I'd pick "From the Sun to the World" as the best track.

Well for those who care, I'm actually listening to a rough mix-down copy of my bands upcoming album.  We've gotta throw down the bass and vocals before any work can be done as far as audio levels can be mixed completely before mastering it of course.  If you've ever been/worked in a recording studio then this should all make sense to you.

Here's a sneak listen to one of the songs, again, no bass or vocals yet, and there's some guitar parts that weren't put in yet when the rough mix-down CD was given to me.

Now i have an idea of what you guys sound like, as a total band. I never would have guessed that your lead singer is a chick from those MP3s. And the drum sound on your new track sounds different for some reason. But it all sounds pretty good, make sure to post up the new stuff when it's ready.

Oh you must have found our olllllllllllllld website.  We used to have a chick screaming for us but she left over two years ago.  And that was our drummer singing on the demo since we had to fire our first one, right before vocals had to be recorded so we all wrote new lyrics.  And a new guitarist.  3 Years makes a big difference.  A lot more polished as a band.

As far as "Bitter Taste" goes, it is what it is.  We're all vehemently against the Bush administration.  And it's our only song with political content.  We cover a fair amount of ground when it comes to subject matter.
