You're breaking my heart with those strawberries on that last trifle.  I developed an allergy to strawberries just last year.   :'(

We went strawberry picking last weekend and I was dying not being able to pop one of those sun warmed delicious bastards into my mouth.  They smelled so good!

I have something similar with Pineapple, I love the taste but it'll kill me. I've also made trifles with just cherries or with raspberries.

The important thing is the custard and booze really, everything else is mutable. :)

Pineapple's pretty much the only fruit left I can eat.  That and mango and banana.  I'm just about tropicaled out this smoothie season and it's not even July yet.

Also true that about the custard and booze.

Anyway so this morning after going for a bike ride in which only me and the squirrels inhabited the park, I came home and listened to something entirely unrelated:

Buffy the Vampire Slayer Cast - Once More, with Feeling
Well sort of, frankly the commercially available CD isn't the best version you could find because they edit all of the non singing dialogue out of it, even the stuff that immediately precedes the song. So I was a bit disappointed with that, however by some modern miracle I was able to find all the tracks with the pertinent dialogue intact.

Yeah, I had a CD of the episode from beginning to end that I listened to until the official one came out (on iTunes, I've changed the track order so it's correct, unlike the CD).

The Best of Rick Springfield

Those who weren't around in the '80s probably think of Springfield as a one-hit wonder, but there was a day when this dude was all over the radio.  Jessie's Girl is the enduring classic, but tracks like I've Done Everything for You, Love Somebody, and Love is Alright Tonite are every bit its equal.  Great music by a much better songwriter and performer than the rock snobs will ever admit.

Does this compilation have "Bruce" on it?
