The Best of Rick Springfield

Those who weren't around in the '80s probably think of Springfield as a one-hit wonder, but there was a day when this dude was all over the radio.  Jessie's Girl is the enduring classic, but tracks like I've Done Everything for You, Love Somebody, and Love is Alright Tonite are every bit its equal.  Great music by a much better songwriter and performer than the rock snobs will ever admit.

It was fun.  Some of his jokes are very Mitch Hedberg and his music/joke combination seems influenced by Steve Martin, but he's different enough to be an entertaining listen.

You're breaking my heart with those strawberries on that last trifle.  I developed an allergy to strawberries just last year.     

We went strawberry picking last weekend and I was dying not being able to pop one of those sun warmed delicious bastards into my mouth.  They smelled so good!
