I am legend issues with the riff, not the movie

I just bought I am Legend and I'm having serious sync issues. I'm using the theatrical version and the movie is playing just fine, but the rifftrax audio just wont stay synced. and it's not that everything is off by a set ammount, it just keeps shifting. sometimes the riffs are too early, sometimes too late. for example, at the start of one chapter, servo (sorry, can't remember his real name) is halfway through a riff. each time i start that chapter, a different part of servo's sentence is playing.

on a couple of occasions, the riff just backtracks a few seconds and replays the same audio, and then the sync is off by a few seconds permanently until i restart the player. if i attempt to fast forward or rewind a little to resync it, the riff just stops playing (says buffering and never starts playing again).

i've watched 4-5 riffs with the player and not had any major issues, but i can't get this one to work at all. is it possible the .riff file is messed up on your end? i've redownloaded it twice now.
