The Spirit Movie

I wasn't too fond of Sin City, but I'm quietly excited about The Spirit, because of the quality of the source material.  The release date has been moved up to Christmas Day for you folks in the US.  Here's the teaser trailer:

Thoughts?

I saw the trailer and at first I thought it was for Sin City 2 ( Very similar style). It looks intresting to say the least.

wooooooooooo.

Miller's visual skill can't be denied, I'm hoping the script and acting can back him up.  LOVED Sin City, hopefully this will be at least close to as good.

Does anyone know much about Gabriel Macht, who's playing Denny Colt?  I don't recognize him from anything and scanning his IMDb list, I don't think I've seen much of anything he's been in.
