For MrTorso, and others who asked.  Here's a list of some of the best and worse performing titles, straight from the guy who signs my checks (hint: not Erik)

Some of the most popular titles, in no particular order:

Jurassic Park
300
Transformers
Star Wars anything
Harry Potter

Some of the least popular, in no particular order:

Greys Anatomy
Glitter
Crossroads
Over the Top
Missile to the Moon
Island of Dr Moreau

Take from that what you will.

Cool. Now I know I need to start a Crossroads campaign!

what I take is that the oldest movies rifftrax can do are from the 90's which is good, because those are the ones I own, and also no chick flicks or tv pilots, which is a shame 'cause I liked Glitter

How many people do you think were upset when Conor's name was added to the employee section as  "Writer."   I bet a section of the people think that only those doing the riffing are the ones who wrote the whole thing.

If so, they kept more quiet about it than the people who wrote to support@rifftrax.com about DisembAudio during the beginning weeks of RiffTrax!
Yeah, but you have to go looking for that information on the site.  If you really want the crazies to come out with their torches and pitchforks, get Mike to mention it in the next track.

I have to confess I was one of those Disembaudio haters at the beginning.  However, having seen (or is it heard?) more Rifftrax and noticed the evolving ways Disembaudio is used, I'm now on his Squadio.  I even have the t-shirt to prove it.

Oh! Sweetheart, did you tell them about how you spelled "Squadio" wrong and ruined a perfectly good t-shirt?

It was awesome, you guys. I laffed so hard.

Seems like this proves that Bill, Mike, and Kevin riffs are the money makers, not that it is the old movies that are the problem.

Well Maybe not all feedback is POSITIVE, or USEFUL, or even IMPORTANT, but the fact that the avenue between Riffers and Riffaholics is open keeps me faithful and loyal and much more excited than I would be if I was just going to a faceless site every couple weeks to download whatever Rifftrax they put up there. (I'm looking your way, Cinematic Titanic.) Even Mr. McDuck's outburst yesterday has prompted this discussion, which has, in turn, led to further communication and an exchange of ideas that may or may not prove beneficial in the long run.

If nothing else, he gave us a whole new running gag that, I think, will eventually be right up there with the Rudimentary Lathe and Red Dawn. :^)

Well, I"d say I'm a standard demographic then. Because I have 4 of the top 5 "popular" ones (not 300), and 1 of the 6 least popular (Moreau).

that's a shame, 300 was awesome................ and the rifftrax wasn't that bad either :rimshot:

thank you and good night

I own all of these except for Moreau (which I only recently purchased the DVD).  I'l probably pick that one up in my next batch of purchases (Moreau, Bourne, Cloverfield, and Spidey 3)

Shame about Missile To The Moon being such a poor seller.  In my opinion, Missile To The Moon > Jurassic Park.

Not too surprised about Grey's, Glitter, and Crossroads being poor sellers.  Tell Mary Jo if she comes back to pick something like Tomb Raider.

Aw.  Those are two of my favorites.  But I knew I stood alone on the Grey's thing.

Well, that's actually pretty close to what I expected the least performing to be. I'm a bit surprised to not see Troll 2 there though.

Yeah, Crossroads was by far the funniest Mike solo RiffTrax to date.

But seeing that Glitter didn't do well either, tells me that some men just can't bring themselves to buying/renting a chick movie. Shame.

Raven

Well I have likes and dislikes on both lists.  I thought the Transformers and 300 riffs were great but I really don't care for the Star Wars Riffs at all.  I loved Glitter and Island of Dr. Moreau but Grey's Anatomy is by far the worst track IMO (nothing against Bridgett, I liked the Next riff.)

I'm not surprised Troll 2 isn't on the least popular, because I'm sure there's a pretty big group of people who only bought that riff, transplants from the Something Awful site.

Pak-Man

From that list, it's obvious what we need. More Weird Al riffs. :^)
