Bill Corbett

Hello friends,

I want to respond to the complaint that Rifftrax is doing too much new stuff and / or doesn't have enough variety.   I know there's a lot of chat about it right now on the forum, and I shouldn't be considered the last word on the subject.

But by god, if you utter one word of disagreement I WILL crush you.

Give me a few seconds to write some thoughts, then fire away with questions.  I can be here for about an hour, then I have to go sell out with my kids for a few hours.  ( But I'll try to come back if this thread still had some life in it over the next day or two.  Yes -- LIFE.  ITSELF!)

Hi Bill :)

Do you hate us?

While I'm back in Mexico for 3 weeks starting Monday, What do you recommend I do to get my mind off this subject of variety??

What is the film that YOU (bill) would most like to riff next?

Gaseous Snake

Hello, Bill. All this movie talk has got me wondering how many movies do you guys watch with the intent to riff, but find that it's not quite as good material as you wanted? Also, I demand humbly request an autograph and your favorite type of cookie. Unless it's coconut. If it's coconut, then forgo the cookie sending.

We're easily wound up, if you couldn't tell.

Mr. Corbett, you're a rich, successful playboy.  How do you answer the charge that you care more about the Benjamins, and less about your art?

First, I would like to say you are my favorite and i have a deep affection for you, Amanda can vouch for this.

Bill I posted this in other thread but give me your thoughts on these suggestions.

Personally I take issue with the fact that Legend Films isn't releasing mike, bill, and kevin riffs on the cheesy movies they put out on dvd (like Mr. Torso has said), I mean I have absolutely NO reason to buy those dvd's but if a Mike riff is on each of them I know I would buy them and so would a ton of other people. So that is one possible way to fix your issue Greg, that I think would make smart business sense to the big corporate thugs behind the Rifftrax empire....

The other thing that could be done is to have us the forum do polls and Mike choose from those polls one older movie that we would all say we would buy the rifftrax for, that way Rifftrax isn't flying blind on what will sell and what won't, and maybe these could be every other month or so.

Even though its one of my favorite movies, I would love to see a Good the Bad, and the Ugly rifftrax...

oh and Bill, is there a reason that is keeping you from riffing some of the older movies? I mean, I'm sure they don't sell as well as these newer releases, but I wouldn't think they sell that much worse....is it the man? Because I would love to see a Dungeons and Dragons rifftrax, and see some more Patrick Swayze, and Keanu Reeves riffing. Not that I'm opposed to will smith riffing.
