Chapter 5 - The Mass Extinction or First Rapture?
What grotesque natural process would give the giraffe such a neck as to be make more possible the chances of that neck snapping?  These questions are necessary for the atheist to answer if they wish to be taken seriously.

Great.  Now I'm never going to be able to look at a giraffe without thinking of their enormous necks snapping.

No Giraffe is ever going to have it's neck snapping, anymore than a human's will. Pan, a wee bit of anatomy study would be nice wouldn't it?

A tiger to the neck can do any of those things to either species. And why do atheists have to explain every animal in evolution? But luckily for us normal people we can do that with the giraffe! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giraffe

Also being a Ape isnt so bad. We ofcorse are very different and far more intelligent. But if someone is such a nancy where they see it as derogatory to who they are then well.... Slap them with a science book because they are fu!@ing retarded.

that HAS to be a joke.
So you're saying that dinosaurs being held in a storage shed in heaven in anticipation of the rapture so that they can then be used as transportation for the devil and his minions sounds silly?

omfg lol

Here is a good book if you want to learn more about the truth.

Wow Destin. Thanks for that! If only everyone else knew the truth existed right here in this book.  To think that one guy could sit down and write the truth for all of us to read.

Why don't we pass this book out to the masses? It should be in, like, hotel rooms and stuff.  For sure.
mike5150 how tall are you?.....in gallons?

Great idea  ;D. Sorry to simplify it in such a way... But I still see it as something very profound. Not really to be considered the "truth" I would guess.

No it wouldn't, A tiger would rip the flesh of the neck potentially though it's primary method would be to suffocate the prey (ok the Giraffe might present more of a problem than a the human would). Though the main cause of death would be loss of blood and shock.

I know that.  What I was saying is that the imagery is there.  Like a tree or a power line snapping after a storm, I have this weird vision of a giraffe getting up too fast and cracking its neck.  Not saying I believe it has any grounding in reality, just saying that it's in my head.

Tripe

Yes I know that you knew that, I was agreeing with you.

Giraffes are poorly designed though.  They all have high blood pressure and end up with heart failure, if they don't die due to eating something that upsets their ungulate stomaches to the point of killing them.  Their necks are pretty sturdy though.  Ours fell on his head once, normally that kills them, not from their neck snapping butbecause they freak out.  They are so high stress they can't stand being on the ground and not being able to get up (evolutionary, someone in the wild would eat them).  He was fine, though. No neck snapping,

God is such a f--k up :)

No.  God is a perfect designer.  Those blood pressure and digestive problems are due to Adam and Eve sinning in the Garden of Eden.  DUH.

Mr. Hajenron has a lot more to say on various topics, though being a rather hermit-like individual, it is hard to find his works beyond his seminal work, Science and Its Evil Empire.  I've recently been in contact with him, and with just a promise that I wouldn't copy and send his work to the "Liberal Brainwashing Juggernaut" I can give you all the pleasure of reading this... wise... man's words.

None of you are part of the "Liberal Brainwashing Juggernaut" correct?

No.  I forgot to pay my membership dues for the last three months and they kicked me out.

Poor creature. Imagine what kind of problems it must have had previously if natural selection decided that the random mutations causing blood pressure and digestive problems actually proved to make the most fit giraffe!

Depends on which area it makes it more fit and on which area is the most important when those characteristics proved to be influential.

My God, it was an equal opportunity joke kids!

Thrifty gets quoted for awesomness, but i get an amateur science lesson? I'll be sure to include more hate directed toward religion or Christians next time, geez... Lesson learned.

Oh I thought it was just a jumping of point for a discussion about fitness, I was rather looking forward to it really.  :-\

... but .... but that's an entire lizard.  It doesn't have the body of a duck or the feet of a dog or something.  That means it doesn't count.

Also, I once saw a scientist make a mistake.  That means evolution is false.

You must be arguing for the sake of argument. To actualy believe these things would probably place you in a loony bin =)
