Lookin' good but instead of Emo Peter in the black suit you should make an alternate Venom cover for we Venom fans. At least that would be showing more respect to the character than Raimi gave him.

Well, I'm not happy with the back cover yet, but here's the early front cover:


And then Gammer got all artsy, so I went back and redid mine:


I intended to stick Mike's floating disembodied head in the corner, laughing at Parker, but none of the stock photos really worked for that, so I stuck the chest symbol in instead. I later realized that I'd seen another custom cover using something similar to that, but eh. It looks nice.

I've got to redo the back, so the full cover comes later.

You should do it Compound...either the reflection or have Mike's head as the reflection...which ever is easier.

Actually, that was my first idea as well.  Unfortunately, what I saw in my brain didn't match what I could do on the screen. Here's the first batch of them:


With the published Lileks photo, well, he starts looking like a bobblehead next to Mike. (And it doesn't help that in both of these posters, the mirrored spidey isn't really mirrored.) Switching over to an alt-Lileks image still looked off, and switching to a mirrored Mike looked slightly better. So I switched to a different poster and I tried this:



Which looked better, but still... there's just something about it that bothers me. (Plus, I think James is circa 1992 in that shot.) That's one of the prime reasons that I switched over to emo-Spidey.

I dunno. I might do an alt-cover.

Can you try putting James 'sunglasses' pic on the black suit?

Also, use the blur tool to blend the head shot to the spidy background.
I would try putting his chin over top of the shoulder, not underneath.

I tried searching google images but seem to just get a lot of toobular boobular fun (try searching with safesearch off!  eeeeck!)

Can anyone post a link for a good headshot?  Or possibly the man himself can help us photoshopers out
