You will have until Sunday April 13th to vote. You have the option to change your vote before it closes.

As stated in the nominations thread, this is the third pool of movies for the preliminaries of Greatest Movie Ever. They were randomly placed in the four pools. You will be able to choose 10 movies in each Pool and the top 15 clear winners will go on to the first round of the tournament.

Use this thread to campaign for your movies of choice and discuss the voting.

I will admit I have seen very little that I really enjoyed before 1970 or so, and of the ones I did I'd rarely consider them favorites.

ALRIGHT.... who's the smart ass who voted for Star Trek: Generations?!

Fortis

That was me, and I will defend that choice to the death...er and the fact i only chose 6 other movies off of this list isntead of 9.

RoninFox

Wasn't me.  Only Trek that got my vote was Khan.

I find your lack of faith... disturbing.

If fight club doesn't make it out of this round I'll be a sad panda.

One trend I'm noticing in all of these is that newer movies (70s-onward) are kicking the pants off of older ones.

Yeah... I kind of expected it, but man...some great movies are not being watched.  Come on people!  :)

Movies starring Edward Norton and Brad Pitt make me a very sad panda.

Well I did try to rectify that with my choices. Though a couple are more modern.

And there would have been more good older movies if I'd had time to post a list....but I didn't.

(How could Bride of Frankenstein not be on here?)

Yeah, I've never seen it.  Mostly because people who I find to be extremely knobbish love it.

This from the guy who voted for Roger Rabbit.

I'm doing my best, but unfortunately I can vote only once for each!  :-[
