Having seen very little discussion on the forums about this I figured I might bring this little nugget of horrible cinema to the attention of those that may have never heard of it before. Not nearly as unbearable as the Star Wars Holiday Special some of you might want to sit back and enjoy what Turkey gave to the world in the early 80's. It blatantly rips off so many movies and is so horribly bad, that I'm sure even George Lucas wouldn't want it wiped from existence only because of how laughable it is. The version I'm presenting is in Turkish with subtitles not that it makes very much sense with the subtitles. If you have an hour and a half to kill I would suggest you and your friends sit back and watch this ridiculous piece of cinema and maybe do a search on google video for ton's, I mean ton's of other Turkish ripoff movies that have been made, very funny stuff.

Here is THE LINK in all it's poopy glory if you feel like going to google video's site and downloading the file to burn to dvd or what not.. Enjoy! Especially the part where the main character is training, it hurts my sides from laughing everytime I watch that scene.

Here's a long but funny review I found  from The Spoony Experiment although I suggest not reading until after you've watched the movie.

Ah yes, Turkey's answer to the Sci-Fi genre, in all its abhorrent glory!

Some friends put together an awesome trailer to the imaginary sequel:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvy1wD7fqmA

Time for some rock pounding and super jumping!!

AND lets not forget Italian Spider-Man!!!

Tyrant

Wow, Italian Spiderman looks like it might be better than Spiderman 3.

jewishcarpenter

They did a pretty kick ass job giving that a late 60's/early 70's vibe throughout the whole Italian Spiderman video.

GalvaTRION

Bob

That was the best training scene ever.

I think that is a REAL 1968 movie......    And it is coming out on DVD later this year.    Dear gods.

Oh god, that can't be real it looks so damned cliche that it... can't be really real... can it?

Hebs

Oh my god we just watched this!  It was painfully bad but vey funny.

I personally like DEVADAM - which is a take on the Copperhead/Iron Claw serials.

There is a really great Viking one as well, complete with Ed Wood-style non-functioning octopus.

Wouldn't that be the Italian Super-Man? ... and it seems like it's origins were Spanish?

So it would be a Spaghetti Sci-Fi?   ???

Well, stylistically, I think it has more in common with Spider-Man.  Tony Farms is more like a lamer version of Peter Parker than he is a lamer version of Clark Kent.  Actual superhero-wise (in terms of the origin and powers), then yes, it's an Italian-Spanish Superman.  For the sake of convenience,we'll call him Spuperman.

Ultimately, I just wanted to shoehorn in a reference to Pumaman.

Speaking of awesome superheroes:
