How hard would it be to get a rifftrax clip (perhaps The Matrix or Star Wars) to be on the featured front page of Youtube?
I see a bunch of nonsense videos on there anyway, like a redheaded stepchild doing impressions and a ZZTop reject reading poems,
so I was just wondering if there was anyway to do that on youtube. Maybe you guys could even grease their cyberpalms a little.

If you want traffic, you'd get more from pulling a front page youtube stunt rather than getting mentioned on a magazine website.

Just a thought...

Youtube is pretty much the internet tubes' cesspool. Let's liven up the joint!

Mod's if you figure out how to do it, its cheap and effective marketing.

From the YouTube Blog, it says features are chosen by the editors and you have to email them but:

"Some helpful hints when writing to editor@youtube.com: include the link to your video in the email and don't forget that we don?t allow content that uses copyrighted soundtracks or images. Oh, and I can also sniff out when you get your friends to spam me about a video. But that's OK. It's good to have friends. "

I don't think the rifftrax clips would count. Maybe some of the other videos the crew has made but are those really funny if you don't know who the heck Mike Nelson is?!
mike5150 how tall are you?.....in gallons?

Sounds like that's a no. Funny how about 3/4 of everything on YouTube features copyrighted soundtracks or images anyway...

Also, "YouTube" and "editors" should not appear in the same sentence.

A good idea, anyway, SuperSecretDragonAgent.
