10 Most Historically Inaccurate Movies

[Doctor Who?]

How old are your mom's friends?

I didn't think there were many WW2 vets alive.

I wasn't even there and even i could tell how bad that movie was when I first saw it.

They're...er....really really old. She's always hung out with older folks.  There are a good number of WW2 vets still around, although they're starting to get outnumbered by Korean War vets nowadays. I had the priviledge of getting to know a number of them at my old job. Nice folks, all of them. They tell the most fascinating stories ever. One gentleman in particular told me all about Pearl Harbor on account of having been there. He had a palm tree tattooed on his forearm with "Pearl Harbor" underneath it as a memorial for the friends he lost there.

That's interesting.

I wasn't trying to be rude it's just for years I have been hearing about how the WW2 are dieing off fast and all the people my family knows(including my grandpa)who were in that war died years ago.

It's sad,but then again we are going on 70 years since it happened so i guess soon anyone who was there will be in their 90s.

I guess if they put movies like Indiana Jones etc in that list than half of the movies ever made would be there.

Still, "Tombstone (good movies but still inaccurate)," "Glory," "Kingdom of Heaven," "Ben Hur," and "Jesus Christ Superstar" should be in that list...

And on the opposite list for MOST historically accurate "Gettysburg" and "Gods and Generals" belong at the top.

I didn't think there were many WW2 vets alive.

My Grandparents on my Dad's side are both WW2 vets from the British Army, still holding on.  Hell, my Grandpa hasn't aged visibly in my entire lifetime.

As far as the vote goes, I guess put me down for 300 too.  Inaccurate combined with goofy, good times.
