When female dogs go into heat, they tend to try to get out of the house and do what comes naturally.  Should that happen, a protective garment such as this can help prevent the neighborhood mutt from burying his bone in her yard.  In case you were wondering, the little hole is where the tail goes.

My boss used to have an English sheepdog, and when she was in heat, she could be seen roaming the house wearing an old pair of his tighty-whities.  Disturbing on every imaginable level.

Well thanks for the explanation because all I see are a pair of crotchless dog panties, a product that would only appeal to a VERY specific group.  The GameBoy Color thing really takes it to all new heights of strange.

They also can bleed a bit and stain your carpet.

However, I don't think my gameboy color ever went into heat. 

I do have Nintendogs.  I guess I need one of these that's compatiable with the DS.

I was visiting friends once and their dog had on a diaper ... she was in heat so they obviously wanted the furniture clean, but it was kinda disturbing to watch the other dog follow her around considering he was several years older than her.

More boggling than the fact that the dog-der-wear is compatible with Gameboy Color is the fact that half of the phrase has been cut off in the picture. The only explanation I can come up with is that they actually made this underwear out of a Gameboy Color carrying case...
