Unauthorized to play DivX shorts

[shpadoinkle878]

I recently downloaded Lunchroom Manners. I followed the instructions on the rifftrax site and was able to view the short in the DivX player. I then burned the short onto a CD using the DivX player. When I tried to run this CD on both of my DivX enabled DVD players I recieved an error message saying that my DVD player was unauthorized to play the file on the CD. Any one able to resolve this issue? Or does it just have to do with copy right information? I've played DivX files (not from rifftrax) on these DVD players before and they ran flawlessly.

Well since these are encrypted, you need to go to DivX and find the instructions to authorize your player. It's a bit of a process but it's not that difficult, just a few menus to get through.
