I do! Very good with the WMV and iPod, but does anyone actually have a Zune?

I had one for a bit, they are actually quite nice, except when I had bought it there was no quick way to buy movies.

But I do like the ability to go from Media Center > Zune > Xbox.. it's just too bad they didn't have the rest of the software aspect together.

That's actually pretty rad that you can have it connect with a 360.

I may have judged the Zune too quickly.

I wish I had one so I could attempt to "squirt" somebody while I'm downtown, and I love the "color" brown.

Here here! I'm overjoyed that I can watch these shorts on my iPod. Being a mac user, the rifftrax player is problematic for me. I usually don't mind downloading the mp3s and synching (never get rid of this option!), but going through that whole process for a six minute short is a bit more tiring.

Now, however, two fully-riffed shorts have joined the list of precious few portable videos on my beloved iPod. They'll go everywhere with me! Along with the Eragon rifftrack that I keep forgetting to remove. Now there's a weird thing to have come up on your playlist . . .

QuoteWhy are we bitching complaining about DRM in a board about a short that doesn't have it?

No complaints here.  I'd personally enjoy remaking them myself, mainly because the ducking on the DRM free files is a bit much.

With the right software, it's really easy to re author.

I'm assuming the DRM on the other shorts makes it nigh impossible to make DVDs of them?

You assume wrong.  It is hard but not that hard.

Well, you know what happens when you assume... HAW HAW HAWWWW!

You can do it, but you have to jump through a few authorization hoops.  Not that big of a deal.  Wait...why am I defending DRM?

No because you get the audio only mp3 with the purchase and all the video can be downloaded from Archive.org so you can make your own dvds no problem.

Yeah, or do that.  Much easier MrTorso's way.

So... Since this non-DRM thing seems to be sticking, is there any chance of getting the DivX shorts released in non-DRM?

bettertomorrowamy

I think Torgos said they put the DRM on whether Rifftrax wants them to or not.

All our shorts are DRM free and will be that way going forward.
