Standard overused greeting

Hey guys I'm new (obviously)  I just joined yesterday and have already made my first purchase (Harry Potter) and watched it.  I loved MST3K and miss it, so this is just fantastic!  I found out about it through www.weirdal.com (because of his guest appearance, and I'm a die hard weird al fan).  At first I was intimidated but I sucked it up, learned about rifftrax and took a chance.  Let me just say that I loved it and I plan on making many more purchases!

Any suggestions for me you elder users?

Love you all
Jess

Oh sorry for double posting but I forgot to ask... why do people have some kind of banner/pennant things of rifftrax'd movies in their siggy?  Is that some kind of special thing?

[RoninFox]

Glad to see another Al fan on the boards (Not that we're short on them here).  So many great Trax I can suggest.  Eragon, Daredevil, Over the Top, any of the Star Wars riffs including the Holiday Special.  Batman and Robin of course, which leads to another question you asked.

The banners on some of our siggys are for riff scripts we've contributed to.  Most of them are for Riff Raff Theater, which you can check out here www.riffrafftheater.com they do collaborative fan-riffs, you can send in a script, they'll edit together the best jokes from all the ones they get and record it.  They've put out a Harry Potter riff already, they did a live show of Speed, and they're planning to put out several others including the MP3 version of the Speed riff, Tron, and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.  They also took care of a special project, putting together a fan-written script for the official Batman and Robin Rifftrax.  (Mine are for Batman and League respectively.)  You'll also see one for Akira, which Greg McDuck is putting together.

Enjoy.

Wow!  Thank you for the reply!  And thank you so much for the information!  I felt like there was some secret organization I was missing out on hahaha.  Yay weird al fans!  I've been a fan of his since I was 8 (I'm 21 now) and I went and saw him in concert for Poodle Hat in 2003!

Welcome 'Neighbor'!

Haven't been to your town on the coast, (but have been to Atlantic Beach many years ago). Beautiful country!
Living 'south of the boarder' from Charlotte, is all I'm used to seeing (or some periodic trips to Myrtle Beach)..

Anyway, Enjoy!
